Continental Contact II Touring Road Bike Tyre

High class city / touring tyre. The Contact II is our day to day urban commuter for hybrid bikes. It's also designed as a reliable high-end tourer for serious touring cyclists. With a reflective sidewall option, the Contact II is safe, long lasting, reliable and fast rolling - the perfect mix for today's demanding bike rider. A uniform centre tread/belt assembly ensures a smooth and speedy ride on the road. Flexible shoulder lugs and fines sipes give assured grip on loose, wet surfaces like gritty corners and tow paths. A tough gumwall sidewall enables the tyre to withstand the harsh urban environment and the strong forces of tandem use. The ultra fine polyamide carcass reduces rolling resistance whilst providing a more comfortable ride.

Compatible for use on E.Bikes - max speed 25km/h. Suitable for use with a Dynamo.

Rated 5 out of 5 by 2 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great road tire for touring or MTB Used it for commuting on a 26" full sus bike. Ride quality and grip is way better than 25$-class tires, such as Conti xxx-Ride line or Schwalbe xxx-Cruiser line. Just ordered another set for my new 29" rigid MTB. 08 July 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by very good wear resistance These tyres came standard on my Ridgback Flyte, still using the tyres at 3250 miles though the rear is looking worn. Very few punctures, about one every 1000 miles which considering the commute I ride and the amount of green glass I see is pretty good. Will definatly be replaceing like for like. 01 November 2013

Answer:
The Continental Eco carcass (http://www.conti-tyres.co.uk/contic...) is suitable for e-bike speeds of up to 25 km/h. The Eco-50 carcass is suitable for high-speed e-bikes (up to 50 km/h). The Contact II is only listed as suitable for 25 km/h.
