Since using these tyres (FOLDING VERSION) for the last 8 months I am amazed how fast they are on tarmac, grass, firm and loose surfaces. Have done well over 1000 miles on them so far with no punctures and hardly any signs of wear. I wanted a tyre that could manage both on and off road with the off road being tracks and trails and fields. These tyres have managed this brilliantly. I will certainly be buying some more when these eventually wear out. I have a set on my cyclocross and mountain bike.

Wire bead weighs 435g. I have only used the lighter 325g folding version, and like it. Poor traction in wet conditions.

They look fast and I guess they are when it's dry and you're riding on pre-brushed tarmac but for anything else they are a complete waste of time. Obviously they have zero mud capability which wouldn't be too bad now it's getting drier but their biggest issue as far as I'm concerned is their complete lack of puncture protection. They attract thorns and glass and let it all in. You can almost guarantee a puncture every single ride. Avoid like the plague.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous Good for punctures!
Had these as a christmas present to go on my bad boy, thought it would be a good idea so i could divert down the odd track.... how wrong could i be! five punctures in a month topped today with double punctures! By far the worst tyres i have ever owned. Very disappointed. not what i would expect from Continental.

I've been using these tyres for 6-months now on my daily commute (mixture of trail, single track and road). They are light and are quite quick on hard-pack dirt with a low rolling resistance. However, as could be expected, they are useless in mud and have very little resistance to puncture. I'm replacing these tyres after putting a 10mm long hole/slit through the deepest part of the tread.
