For sporty MTB’s and Trekking bikes.
Optically appealing to the leisure rider – fast on the road, grippy in the corners. In a sturdy gumwall design for urban biking, it rolls smoothly and quietly on asphalt. Its side lugs provide the necessary traction in the park and on gravel paths. The ideal combination for turning a proven knobbly all-terrain tyre into one good for zipping around the metro area.

Schwalbe Marathon

Had these tyres fitted as standard to 6 cannondale quick bikes we rent out.the tyres are very thin and seem to wear out very quickly (I doubt centre tread on rear last more than 3-400 miles)and two are down to carcass after maybe 500,
So OK if you don't ride too much they are cheap. But here in Norway there is no hedge cutting and of 20 bikes 4 punctures in the last season all on these tyres.
have moved bikes over to conti tour plus a tire in another league.
Horses for courses cheap and cheerful but very thin and wear very fast

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous good tyre, recommended for commute
So far very impressed got these tyres on a new Boardman Urban I got in February this year. Started in February using them on road as part of my commute and also some very light off road. They'll mainly be used on road though and feel very secure and safe on them. Some parts of my commute are thro quite rough farm tracks which have taken their toll on my Boardman Road Team Gatorskins ending up with me having a few punctures over the past few years hence purchase of something more substantial for getting to and from work!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous Great tires!
I've been using these tyres for daily commuting since May last year and have yet to get a puncture. These tyres survived the glass littered roads of London in the days after the riots.
I bought them as my 22" knobbly tyres made riding to work a chore. These are fast enough for the road and held their ground on the ice and snow.
As they are so cheap I didn't expect much but they have exceeded my expectations - will definitely buy again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous These tyres are great for an all round use. Mainly used on the road but can provide enough grip off road if the weather conditions are good. I managed to get 1500 miles out of them which proves that wear is also pretty good, compared to Hutchingson Bulldog's which have started to wear dramaticaly after 3 weeks of riding. I am a second time buyer, and if you want the speed camera's flashing at you, buy THESE!

These tyres are awesome - but only if you use slime filled tubes & the weldite puncture protection tape. Very fast tyre on road and hardpack and even secure on wet roads too. If you want to ride on the mud dropping the pressure gives a bit more grip.
I'm not sure how they will wear though, only time will tell but the compound feels a little harder than usual tyres.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Anonymous Great for the most part
Had these tyres front and rear for around 9 months, over the summer they were a fantastic road tyre however my winter experience has been a little disappointing, i have suffered from 5 punctures in the last month from tiny shards of grit used on the roads, because there are no knobbles the debris can easily piece the rubber causing the inevitable. Ideally needs reinforced around the rolling edge.
