Rated 4.8 out of 5 by 11 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent wheel bag. I bought my Continental wheel bag 8 years ago, I can only describe it as brilliant. i can fit both my 700c carbon wheels in it. The wheels remain protected well, there is a hardened area in the centre to prevent the axles 'breaking through' and 2 internal pockets that easily store 4 quick release skewers. The bag can eaily be carried by the well attached handles that can also be velcro wrapped together or shoulder slung. The bag still looks as good as the day I bought it, it's durable, good looking and protects the wheels well. Overall this is a top of the range double wheel bag, a little bit pricey but worth the extra cost IMHO. 06 August 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by 08 June 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by MTB fits 29er wheels with tires Just received the bag and was stoked to find that it could fit my 29er wheels with 2.1 tires, rotors and cassette with ease. I'd be prepared to bet that it would work with up to 2.35" tires. Nice quality and plenty strong 04 February 2013

Answer:
For 29er wheels the road bag would be the better model. 29er and road wheels are the same diameter.

With this though you will have have to let the air out of the tyre or remove the tyre completely. This is because the the larger nature of a mtb tyre.

Answer:
The MTB model is intended for use with 26" wheels (559mm Diameter) and the Road model is for use with 700c wheels (622mm Diameter).

However the MTB tyres would need to be deflated before inserting into the Road bags.
