The professional riders use a similar combination in their tyres for Paris - Roubaix and other equipment destroying classics in the springtime. Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous Puncture proof
Got the least punctures with these tyres and ride them till the canvas shows and beyond. Can be inflated to 11 bars which theoretically give them less rolling resistance. In Namibia they last the longest of any tyre, cannot ride anything else...

Rated 2 out of 5 by Anonymous Didnt last long.
Bought 4 of these tyres when placing a large order (as I'm located in Australia).
I'm actually pretty disappointed in these tyres. They've lasted me around 4000km (2500 miles) and the rear tyre has already worn out. Ive had 3 rear and 1 front punctures (mostly after the first 2000km).
Previously i was using Specialized Armadillos (which CRC dont stock) and they were fantastic. I got nearly 15,000km from a pair with only 2 punctures (which was right before i replaced them).
The grip levels on these gatorskins wasn't as good as the armadillos, but they are a lighter tyre with less rolling resistance. I haven't used any other tyres so i cant compare them to anything else.
So i guess these tyres would be ok for a bit of fast racing type stuff, but for endurance/daily ride their not worth it as they wear way to quickly and dont offer much grip in the wet.

Not cheap but do a good job. Get the odd puncture but there's nothing in the world that's completely puncture proof. I generally run mine until they're down to the 'canvas'. Despite what others have said, the valve core is removable so extensions can be added for deep section.

purchased some Bora's which came with these units. A) they weren't glued on properly, B), one burst and one consistantly went down. C) trying to find a replacement unit and none of these tubulars seem to mention their valve length... important with deep dish wheel.. but none of them mention it. pissed off.

rear tyre flat after about 200 km, pretty disappointing, picked out small, razorlike rock from tyre, surprised to see something like that penetrating it... but nice tires overall, low rolling resistance.

These were my first tubulars. They were nice. I enjoyed the increased PSI capacity... they seemed fast. Grip was great but the course I raced them on was pretty tame. I finished 1,2 and 3rd in the 3 races I raced with them so i think they're pretty good. I used them as a training tire for a couple days after words and I had a blow out.... i dont think thats a regular thing though i may have run over something.... Im not sure. But i enjoyed them while they lasted... would buy again.
