The profile design was specially developed for everyday MTB use in urban and country areas. The centre bridge profile always provides a comfortable and fast run on the road, whilst its solid construction and robust sidewall make it an optimal companion when braving the dangers of big city road furniture, kerbs and traffic.
For MTB owners who ride on the road, not wishing to lose the “off road” look of their bikes. Choose the reflective sidewall option for added safety.

Have been using these for years and only had 1 puncture from a drawing pin of all things in 3 years of riding cycle paths and roads.

Fitted on my Hardtail MTB, they have low rolling resistance for a semi-knobbly tyre and decent grip on light trails. If your route has a variety of surfaces this is the tyre for you. Easy to fit (by hand no tools) and no punctures in 1000 or so miles. Good quality and there's nothing to touch them at this price.
Excellent tyre, great value.

Having them for 2 months - good on snowy, wet, dry road. Quality seems to be great.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous I use these more offroad than on - towpaths, bridleways, woodland paths etc. but wanted something that would roll well on the tarmac. They do pretty much everything I've wanted them to.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous If you want a decent tyre to use on the road but don't want to lose the chunky mountain bike look then these are the one's for you i chose the 2.1's, they roll easily with little or no noise but beware don't corner to fast on the road until your use to them they do tend to slid away rather unpredictably so take care the first few times, because of the closeness of the centre block tread small stones get wedged in the tread then when your speed increases they fly out not a problem in it's self but something to be aware of
All in all a good tyre for someone who rides mainly on the road and a much better alternative to the knobberlies fitted to most mountain bikes as standard
I've only marked them down a star because of the on road cornering but you can't have everything now can you

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous Great every day tyre
This is a great tyre for everyday use where you might be occasionally on towpaths or rougher bits of ground as well as on road. The closeness of the nobbles means that even on road this is a pretty quick tyre, but you get the confidence of grip. I got this as s rear tyre and would recommend it to anyone who gets off the tarmac on their travels. The closeness of the nobbles also provides reasonable puncture protection for those rougher areas and alleyways too. All round a very good tyre and an absolute steal for the price.
