Rated 4.1 out of 5 by 77 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by great for xc use these tyres for xc and enduros .find them pretty good all rounders . definitely worth their money and will buy again . 29 September 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by no la compréis Primera salida con esta cubierta y raja en un lateral de dos centimetros. Parece papel. Da la impresión de que sea una cubierta recauchutada. No la compréis. 15 September 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Not too shabby I'm not 100% convinced by these tyres yet, They offer a reasonable grip but can through you off when hitting small stones, branches or roots. I've tried running them slightly under inflated which has helped. On the plus they look good and give a good sound when running on tarmac 11 September 2014
31 August 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great tyres for most surfaces. I have these in 2.3 on the front of my hardtail paired with a 2.1 Conti Explorer on the back. I think that it works well. The only surface that they stuggle on is hardpack or rock with a layer of loose sand over the top. Overall I'm impressed with them. 29 August 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Incredible tyre for the money! I bought a pair of these for a recent week-long trip to the Alps (Morzine/Les Gets/Chatel). They survived the week completely intact and performed very well! Not too much drag/weight for the ups and great grip on the twisty bits; through rocks, mud, hard-pack and gravel. All in all I'm very impressed. And as I've since bought a 650b, I'm slightly gutted you can't get these tyres in this size. 21 August 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 Gran agarre En 26" y 2.3, excelente cubierta delantera , con gran agarre en todo tipo de terrenos. Con la oferta a 16 euros es un producto con insuperable relación calidad7precio. 27 July 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Sidewall split Although the tread and grip are excellent, the sidewall on my tyre has split just above the beading. Luckily I spotted it while washing the bike, otherwise it would have probably resulted in a long walk home. I used to swear by these tyres, but think they have dropped the quality. Time to try Nobbly Nick 26 July 2014

Answer:
This model of Continental vertical tyre is a wire bead variety.

This helps bring the price of the tyre down to make a very good tyre more affordable.

The tyre has a high volume casing to allow more comfort and grip at lower pressures.

Answer:
Most likely, yes. As long as the diameter is correct, you can mount virtually any tire to any rim, but it is unwise to use widely disparate sizes. Moving up from 2.1" to 2.3" shouldn't pose any problem, but double check the clearance on your frame and forks to ensure you can run the larger size.

Answer:
I wouldn't recommend running these with a 54-599 as you will end up with alot less grip than you would expect and the tyre would no doubt bunch up and be prone to pinching, Instead get a set of 59-599 and inflate to about 35 psi to get the best for these awesome tyres.

Answer:
depends on the clearance (gap between tyre and frame / forks ) if you have plenty of room for a wider tyre with 2.1 then a 2,3 will be fine and give a slightly smoother ride.
