Rated 5 out of 5 by Alnimal80 Nice look, ergonomic, light and stiff
Cool carbon surface look, ergonomical designed, fits good, good grip.
Combined with other ControlTech parts it makes Your bike a unique carbon-lookin´ and save some weight.

Someone else might be lighter than this. But just great ergonomics and doesnt look too massive with handlebar. Worth every penny.

Being expensive does not equal the best. All about functionality, durability, and value for money. These are bar ends, stick out on the bars and catch branches as you ride, great for flicking you off into the rough.
Anyone who buys these because they "deserve the best", will have to start buying Gillette once old enough to shave! ;o)

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous Not for a Stoker on a Tandem
Looked good felt good but very very expensive.
I was looking for some bar ends for my stoker on a Tandem but having purchased them they were just not going to do the job for us. They are quite small the picture does not convey this neither were their any useful dimensions that would have helped us in making our decision.
The only really good thing I can say about this purchase and Chain Reaction is the no quibble returns policy, I got my money back within a day or so of returning the goods.

carbon bar ends are just not worth it, these are heavier than the smica xtx also sold in crc, bout 50% heavier, and at nearly 3 times the price, that said, they don't get cold in the winter. and the overall finish is nice, just to dear really.

You can only fit bar ends to carbon bars that have been specifically reinforced to support bar ends. Unless a bar is described by the manufacturer as 'suitable for use with bar ends' then it is not advised as the carbon will likely weaken.
