LI ho usati per un'anno poi li ho dovuti cambiare perchè non avendo cuscineti si crea movimento tra corpo pedale e asse pedale.

Rated 1 out of 5 by ReddMudd87 You can't get out of these once clipped in
I've been riding mtb's for about 25 yrs, many pedal types. Bought these because knee issues required a little more float, which they delivered, and to clear mud better than SPD's, which they do. But, I found them really hard to unclip from, even after riding on them for a couple of months - if anything they got worse. Ultimately this caused me to fall on, and break, a perfectly good Santa Cruz Blur frame (not to mention my butt). So I'm going back to my SPD's,even if it means dealing with the mud, before I break another frame or suffer a worse injury than a bruised butt.

I have bought 4 pairs of the candy pedals now and unfortunately one of the pair have let me down. After only a few rides the spindle has become almost rigid and this makes it very difficult to clip in. I'm not sure about returning them but I will investigate....other than that pair I've been really happy with their performance. They have saved me on numerous occasions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous Excellent piece of kit
I have used many clipless road and mtb pedals over 20 odd years and have been using the candy 2's for 3 years. The orange anodising is very tough and the pedals nearly look as good as they did 3 years ago (they can take a good bashing). Silky smooth ride and VERY easy to clip into (they don't clip out when you don't want them to either). Buy them, excellent for cross-country riding.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Anonymous great to use, but weak spindle
I've been using egg beaters for over 7 years and decided to try the Candy pedals last year. Twice I'd snapped spindles on the 'beaters and I was hoping (wishful thinking no doubt!) that the Candy pedals might have a stronger spindle. It seems not. One pair has lasted over 8000km so far, but the other pair I swapped in when waiting for some new bearings snapped the right spindle after only 2 months and less than 2000km. I weigh around 78-80kg and dont jump off things- the wheels are on the ground except for normal trail obstacles that arent too big, mostly dirt road and fire trail riding. When you are riding hard out of the saddle, a snapped pedal is the last thing you want, the result is always painful, and usually results in some time off the bike while the injuries heal. That said, they are very nice to use, and dont clog up with mud and clay, but I really, really wish they would make the spindles just a bit stronger!
