Rated 5 out of 5 by Guiddy Quality feel at a great price!
This was the first time I bought a bike off Chain Reaction and the experience was superb.
They set the bike up ready to go, just the bars needed turning and pedals attaching before I could go. A lovely pocket tool and a few other accessories included for good measure.
I love the bike, it's such a cool looking thing that draws attention everywhere you take it. Not for the shy!
You will also need a good lock!
Some lovely touches such as the internal cable routing, the braided effect brake lines, leather style bar grips, cream wall tyres on polished rims and the chrome front rack with the lamp looks amazing!
The Nexus 3 speed is a great set-up, just enough range for town cruising.
I changed the Velo Suede effect seat for a brooks sprung seat which I thought fitted the look better.
If I must find something to pick up on, which is hard:
The right bar grip feels a bit short and it's easy to shift gear as you move the Nexus shifter accidently. Still, looks better than the Sturmey Archer 3 speed shifter!
The rear mudguard holder under the rear brake rattled until I added more double sided tape and tightened the edges onto the mudguard.
The brake blocks feel a bit gritty as they bed in!
I am more than happy with my Crème Café Racer though. I went for the brown with cream wall tyres and it looks great!
