Cube Agree GTC PRO Compact Road Bike

The lightweight carbon fibre frame pushes the overall weight down towards the 8kg mark.

A fast road bike suited for first competitions. The tapered steerer tube delivers optimum stiffness and a better distribution of forces while thin seat stays offer flex for comfort. The Gran Tourismo Modular Fiber Tech Monocoque carbon fibre frame comes in our RFR geometry with relaxed and comfortable riding position. Twin Mold technology allows perfect control of the wall thickness and minimises the usage of resin especially on highly stressed areas of the frame.

Rated 4.9 out of 5 by 19 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Value Bike I bought this as a general use training/commuter bike to replace my trusty old steed. I have now done approx 2000k on it. Sizing - def try and check out pre purchase. Its smaller than my specialized which is meant to be the same size. All in all, fantastic value for money. Power transfer feels good so bike feels fast. Handles well in corners and as you would expect with full 105 set up, the gears and brakes are precise and reliable. Wheels seem a little heavy (just opinion havent been geeky enough to look into it or weigh them) but for the price they are more than adequate. Only slight issue I have is that it could have been put together better. Have spent a bit of time and money getting things resolved that should not have been an issue! 08 May 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Epic My second Cube bike and what can I say... It's awesome, great value for money! The speed I can reach on this bike (admittedly down hill) is amazing! I'm 5'11" and opted for the 58cm frame size which is spot on. You will not be disappointed if you buy this bike. 09 April 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great bike for beginners This is a first (second) ride review. After 8 years of MTB (all mountain) and moving to Northern Ireland my greatest fears came true. Becoming a roadie! After researching the interwebs I came to the conclusion this is the most affordable bike given the specs. Grandfondo style bike centred around 105 group (565 non series and ultegra rear mech) which is not that heavy with good previous reviews. Sizing: It is crucial! Before I committed to buying a specific size I went to CRC shop to try other Cube bikes. I'm 181cm (5'11') but with incredibly weird body part lengths. Most would go for 58 but I choose 56 because I have long in-seam but short reach. Also I weigh next to nothing. Shipment: I opted for it to be sent to the shop. Wise decision! Everyone was helpful and after body fit we changed the stem from 10cm to 11. Bike immediately felt much more comfortable. Unlike MTB where you would choose short stem and extra wide bars that you can cut, fit is crucial. You are going to ride in the same three positions for a long time. There are only four complaints. First is the seat. It is not the shape but that is slides like crazy. The brakes are long reach so they are hard to upgrade, new brakes are all short. But they do perform well enough to block the tyres and have good modulation. Third are the tyres. Aksions are good only for dry conditions. Will change for GP4000, Michelin Pro4 or one of Schwalbe offerings. The last is that I'm unable to find the legs or the heart to fit the bikes potential. Bad CRC! :) Having said that the bike is fantastic! 24 March 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Superb value Having trawled all the shops and looked at everything from Pinarello to Giant etc.. I spotted the 2014 Cube. The bike seemed to fit the bill with a decent balance between race and sportive. It was at the top of my budget at around £1400. I then went online and found last year's model with the same frame and better running gear and almost £500 cheaper! With 105's on the front and Ultegra on the back you cannot go wrong. Chain Reaction delivered the bike well packaged and quickly. It was a simple case of turning the handle bars and setting up seat height etc. Wheels are already on and ready to go. I would thoroughly recommend this bike to anybody and I challenge anyone to find a better bike for under £1400. 20 March 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by This bike is great value for money for a carbon frame, very good gearing and wheels! After having my previous Cube Peloton Race compact stolen from my shed after having it for 1 week, I was surprised to find a full carbon here for less than the price I paid for my 1st bike. Its a brilliant piece of kit for the money you pay. Be careful when sizing as Cube seem to over size the frame. I'm 5 11" and I got the 58" frame (as previous people have mentioned). That's the size that they recommended for me on my previous bike. Delivery was very fast and there is very little to do when you take it out of the box. Position the handlebars and the saddle and put on some pedals and you're good to go. Also the goodie bag from CRC is a nice touch. It came with some essential tools, water bottle and some Hi 5 and zero supplements (its more than I got when I purchased my previous bike from a well known shop in Cork) A bit of advice on security.... Do not store in a garden shed if you can. If you have to put a U bolt in the floor and run a good chain and lock around it and to other things to make the bike heavy. Make your shed secure as possible by removing all screws from the doors/locks and replace with dome head bolts and bolt from the inside, and get a battery PIR alarm. Make it as difficult as possible for them to get in a take it. 18 March 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfecta para iniciarse. 16 March 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Different Gravy This was to be my first road bike purchase, having mainly mountain biked in the last few years. I did a lot of research to find out what was right for me. Having went to my local bike shop and saw that it was €2k+, I decided this was a no brain er. Having taken it out for its first spin, I'm amazed at its performance. Climbs like a goat and is a pleasure to cycle on. Highly recommend. I dont know a huge amount about road spec, but having done research, I know this is EXCELLENT value for money. 10 March 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great bike- light with good components for price Great looking bike with great components for the price. Noticed a huge difference upgrading to carbon frame. One thing, frame colour is in fact painted black, not carbon effect that I was expecting. Very pleased with my purchase noticed a difference with carbon frame upgrade. 09 March 2014

Answer:
I am 5' 8" in height, with an inside leg measurement of 31". If I was going to purchase this particular bike I would definitely purchase the 53 cm (which is not in stock). The 53cm would be the perfect size for myself assuming of course that the 53cm has a stem.....(which can be changed to suit your reach).....length of 90cm.

How do I know this ? I own bikes that are very similar in geometry to the 53cm model of this bike which has a horizontal top tube measurement
of exactly 53cm.

The 56cm model of this bike has a horizontal top tube measurement of 54.5cm.
The 58cm model of this bike has a horizontal top tube measurement of 56cm.

Given these measurements it is my opinion that the 56cm model would be most suited to an individual of your stature.

You can always go to your local bike shop for further information. There you could try out bikes which have a similar geometry to these which in turn will give you a more accurate perspective of the actual size that would be most suited to you.

Answer:
at 6ft with a 32-33" inside leg you seem to fit better in the specifications for the 60 cm frame according to the size chart.
however, with the seat raised and moved back a bit and the bars positioned correctly the 58 may just be large enough for you.

Answer:
Go for the 60cm, i'm a touch shorter at 179cm height and the 58cm fits well but maybe a touch short in the cockpit/reach length - although I prefer that. With the above heights/size combo i'm about mid extension on the seat tube so have plenty of adjustment in either direction.

The 56 cm frame would in my opinion be to large for you. I am 5ft 8in and the 56cm would be just a little too large for me. The 56cm frame is the smallest size that is in stock for this particular model at this time. There is a 53cm and a 50cm frame size for this model but they are not in stock.

If in the future if a different gear ratio is required then the crankset could be replaced with a different model.
