This is my first cross bike and I recommend it to those who want to (re) enter the world of biking but do not know much about bike parts and do not want to break their bank.
It is obviously not one of those top bikes but it still offers a solid performance and also opportunies for upgrades. It can easily be upgraded to a mid-range touring bike.
Parts from CUBE is also not difficult to find.

I got this in the end of year for £320. It is the first top quality bike that I have purchased so I can't really evaluate in comparison to other bikes but it seems good quality and I have been using it for cycling around country lanes so far.

700c is the correct tyre size; 700c equates to a 622mm diameter, while 26" equates to 559mm (the new 650b standard is slightly larger at 584mm) and 29" MTB is also 622mm, although runs much wider tyres than a 700c (Road) rim.
