Cube Peloton Race Road Bike

Functional Shimano 105 shifting for fitness and training rides, avid riders can choose the 2x10 compact version. The RFR geometry with relaxed and comfortable riding position makes riding out of the saddle safe and easy while maintaining agile handling. The Frame Save System protects the frame by placing the threads in the replaceable hanger. Made of Aluminium Superlite 6061 with an advanced mechanical forming process, the double butted frame has strength to weight-optimized tubes with an outstanding SGI value of 150.2 and comes with particularly stiff cold forged 3D dropouts. The internal cable routing saves weight, is dirt proof and delivers a clean look. The tapered steerer delivers optimum stiffness and a better distribution of forces. The Aero Flex Stays – cross-ovalized thin seat tubes for high riding comfort – deliver lateral stiffness while being aerodynamic. Equipped with Shimano 105 transmission, available as compact or triple version for a perfect shifting performance. The Easton EA 30 is a light handlebar with a wing shape for a comfortable hand position and optimum ergonomics.

Rated 4.8 out of 5 by 4 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by great bike all round This is my first road bike as I have converted from mtb. First impressions the bike is amazing and I was able to keep up with my three mates on TT bikes which really impressed me average speed 37km. The only things that disapponted me was I needed tune the gears (a good learning experience) yet made the first ride a bit awkward I upgraded to 105 brakes straight away and it would be good if crc could include even budget pedals with the bike so it could be ridden straight out of the box as my pedals and shoes arrived 7 days after the bike. Overall small issues aside the bike is amazing crc customer service was very helpful and the price is unbeatable in Australia. Well done crc. 01 April 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Fantastic Ive had this bike since December and I love it, it's fast and easy to ride. The bike handles well and climbs hills as if by itself. 03 March 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Top bike for the price Had the bike for just under a month and love it, the 105 gear set is great, but as previous review suggest I'm looking to upgrade the calipers (not 105# this certainly does not detract from the overall ride. I found the bike very responsive and has uped my average speed on usual training route.#Although that might be trying to push a new bike to it's limits# I was concered after reading about the cube small frame sizes as being 6'4" so opted for a 62 frame which was perfect, if anything a little too large,#I'm trying a shorter stem#. Thanks CRC, Looking forward to the summer. 09 February 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by First impressions Just taken delivery of the peloton race and if it rides as well as it looks it will fly. Components are ok although I read various reviews before deciding on the bike and the only thing I would change straight away is maybe the basic callipers for 105 to complete the group set. However well done CRB for another cracking deal. 08 January 2014

The 'Compact' in the title refers to the gearing setup (34.50). All the Cube Road frames run the Compact geometry (shorter rear triangle and larger tubes) as can be seen on the Size Guide.
