SuperMagneto Pro combines versatility with an authentic road-like feel. Between seasons, use our SuperMagneto Pro to get in great shape—and stay that way. It offers the most versatility of our trainers. You can adjust the resistance curves to fit a conditioned rider or a less physically fit rider. Or modify the curves to fi t a big or small rider. And if you plan to share a trainer with another rider, the SuperMagneto Pro is the right choice.
Like getting four trainers in one.
Choose a resistance curve and start riding. Tailor your workout with the SuperMagneto Pro Trainer. It offers four resistance curves: easy, road, interval and mountain. No matter how modest or ambitious your goals, this versatile trainer can help you reach them.
Easy Setting: Warm up before you ride hard.
Road Setting: Ride all day to build volume and build a sweat.
Interval Setting: Step up to a more intense workout.
Mountain Setting: Take on the trainer's most challenging ride.
Each setting allows the unit's four rare earth magnets to move to a different controlled working diameter as centrifugal force pushes them away from the center. The farther away the magnet is from center, the higher the resistance. Spring-loaded magnets create a more desirable progressive resistance power curve.
Because we designed the flywheel with more material on the outer surface, the SuperMagneto Pro delivers a smoother ride and more road-like feel. Precision-balanced fl ywheels add to the realism.
Engineers, leading scientists, coaches and athletes have all worked together to develop the CycleOps Pro Series line of trainers. As the category leader for more than 10 years, we've refined our trainers to reflect everything we've learned about bringing the power of riding outside, inside.
Pre-Assembled: Use your trainer right out of the box and store it in a small space.
Unsurpassed Stability And Durability: Ride on an exceptionally stable platform during even the most intense training.
Handy Single-Leg Leveling Adjustment: Adjust just one leg for riding on all surfaces.
Convenient Skewer Clamp: Center your bike from just one side and hold it securely. *Ensure to engage secondary locking feature.
Big Wheels, Too: Mount 29ers using two-position mounting bracket.
PowerTap calibrated for optimal road-like feel: Yes
Rated 5 out of 5 by Erbisti The Best Road feel
In my opinion, this trainer is the best buy in this price and type level.
The resistance level is not remote, changed in trainer but I think is not a problem, because the four levels have progressive curves, like trainers with fluid resistance.
In easy level is possible to ride at 50kph, and road setting is very similar to road.
Interval setting is good to interval training and mountain setting is not so real, but stronger that any fluid trainer.
The wide and heavy flywheel give great momentum, a good road like feel.
He is flat when unmounted, have a cooling system for the resistance which also operates in the tire, so the tire wear is minimal. Low noise.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Rossetti Terrific product !!
The CycleOps Supermagneto Pro Trainer is an outstanding product. With four levels of magnetic resistance to choose from you can take your training to a new level. While you spin the pedals the magnetic resistance will provide a similar training platform to what you will experience on the road. The higher your cadence the greater the magnetic resistance. This trainer will provide a great workout for amateurs and it will also challenge the toughest of professionals. The build quality is excellent. It is very stable while in use even when you sprint out of the saddle. It is smooth and there is very little noise. The clamping mechanism for the wheel is well designed and as it will hold your wheel, firmly and securely in place. Terrific product from CycleOps.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous Excellent Value
I find this product excellent and have no complaints what so ever with it. It is assembled in a matter of seconds straight from the box and the training on it is excellent and also very quite. After training simply fold away and store. I would highly recommend this product and the delivery service from Chain Reaction Cycles was excellent, 3 days after my order i received my trainer in Thailand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous This is a very high quality product from CycleOps. It is heavy, strong and built to last. It is very quiet while in use along with a Continental Hometrainer Tyre.
It provides plenty of resistance for any type of workout. It gives a very smooth ride with an almost road like feel. It is also very stable even when putting down the power in an out of saddle sprint. Highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous No wobbles and as much resistance as you want.
I bought this trainer during some prolonged icy weather(Dec/Jan)and I'm happy with what I bought. It wasn't cheap but the difference between this model and the cheapest Cycleops is only £100 and as I am going to be using it regularly it made sense to buy a better one. The trainer is rock solid in use.No rocking or wobbling. It is also acceptably quiet-just a whooshing noise that increases with speed. The flywheel creates enough of a wind to cool your tyre and your rear end, and because the flywheel is so large you get less of that jerky feeling you get whenever you slow down or speed up on a(cheaper)turbo. It has 4 resistance levels and I have found the 2nd setting(normal road setting) to be adequate for my needs-though I'm using the higher gears on my bike-and I am not some wheezing out of condition hobby cyclist but a 3500 miles per year road cyclist. The only thing I found a bit annoying was to do with the resistance unit pivoting forward and backwards to take account of the diameter of your wheel. I found that the unit has to be pivoted back almost to the end of its adjustment for a 700c wheel and 23mm tyre-this made finding the 'sweetspot' on the adjusting rod a little harder as it was nearing the end of the ratcheting grooves on the adjusting rod. It is obviously designed that way to be able to also take much smaller wheels but frankly it should be designed round the 26" or 700c wheel and nothing else. Come on,how many people use a BMX on one of these?
Other than that I have no complaints. It is well made and does not need a degree in structural engineering to put it together.Very simple in fact.
I used to go out running when it was too cold to cycle but now I have this I have the perfect excuse to stay at home.Yes,turbo trainers are a poor substitute for the real thing. But this one at least makes the experience bearable. And seems built to last.
