Rated 3 out of 5 by Elto Great mudgaurd but bracket design is bad
Great mudgaurd , works really well on different full suspension bikes. Unfortunately the design is flawed. I have snapped two of them at the bracket that wraps around the seatpost. If this was redesigned then it would be a 5 star review

Got this mudguard as previous one's iv'e found are slightly shorter therefore not giving the full spray protection, like this one which is adaptable for extra length. The material is also better quality unlike basic plastic one's which seem to perish in colder climates and snap if knocked. Great product fast delivery thanks CRC.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous The bracket is needlessly difficult to fit together and to top it off it's also very flimsy. It took me about an hour to get the bracket to fit together properly with everything in the right place, then just when I thought I was done and tightening up the seat post clamp it broke apart! I don't have an over sized seat post, was using the thinnest rubber spacer available, and certainly wasn't over tightening it, but the plastic clamp just split in two rendering all of my time and effort wasted and leaving the rest of the mudguard as a useless hunk of plastic.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous Nice But Flawed
I brought 4 sets of these and the guards look very good, Nice and flexible and easy to mount but one rear broke first day out,(Fitted to a Giant FCR 1 Hybrid)
It broke on the seat post mounting this is definitely the weakest part of an otherwise very sturdy guard - the crud catchers I have fitted to other Hybrids and MTB,s are much more substantial in this one area so will stick to them in future, shame as they are a good looking guard but a 25% failure rate is no good to me.Based in Norway so sending it back to CRC would cost more than guard.Maybe I am unlucky but I am not heavy handed and did not overtighten!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous Sparce spares
This product is a bit of a fiddle to fit as the components are very snug, but once you've done one or two it gets easier. Once fitted it stays in place and does a good job of keeping you backside clean and dry but these types of mudguard will never keep your front mech etc clean! I would give this 5 stars for fit, performance and style but it'll have to drop a mark as I found the seat post bracket breaks to easily and then you cannot get spare brackets in stock anywhere! Come on suppliers, sort yourselves out!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous excellent
déjà possesseur du modèle 2008, je viens d'en recommander un. ce garde boue est excellent. petit regret, sur le modèle récent, la fixation est plus fragile que l'ancienne, dommage.

Fitted this today. Took about 10 mins, abit fiddly but nice and secure once fitted.
Rode for 20 miles in sloppy gloop in the local woods (its november its very muddy) and my backside and back were completely dry when I got home. Money well spent!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous not whats on the pic
yeah it seems good so far, the only thing to take into account is the fact its not quick-release (last years did) anymore and directly mounts to your post.
