Rated 4 out of 5 by gerg3p Good seatpost if it will last
I have used this seatpost 5 times and there is a small bit of sideways play in it already. Its a very small amount of play and will be fine if it doesn't get worse. I bought this because the length was perfect for my freeride bike. I have a kind post on my xc bike for 2 years and its still perfect. If da bomb post gets any more play i will send it back and go for a kind one instead.
if the play doesn't get worse it is a good post

Rated 4 out of 5 by Chris930 As good as the best
I've had a Crank Bro Kronolog, Rock Shox Reverb and now this Da Bomb Cannon. Everyone goes on about how good the Reverb is and it was decent, but despite its faults, if you use the Kronolog right, it was better. And now the Da Bomb, my first non remote dropper post. The mechanism itself is much smoother to use than the Reverb, with absolutely no left to right play in the saddle at all. I mean zero! The rock Shox is very poor in this area. There are only two issues with the Da Bomb in my opinion. The first, it's way too short. At 330mm you are literally at the minimal insertion point. Taller riders (I'm 6 foot) might struggle here. And Second, no remote is no where near as convenient. Granted they do a remote version, however, without internally routed cabling it's far from ideal on a rear suspension bike. I love the idea of the reverb stealth connectamajig but it's too pricey for what it is.
Bottom line, this is a great post, reliable, no side to side play and weighs in at 598g so isn't too heavy (despite the advertised weights my reverb was 660g)

Rated 4 out of 5 by Phthalaten Great and cheap dropper post
I bought this at the start of the 2013 season for my AM/FR bike, and it has been working almost without any problems. The post itself looks good with the orange details, and the handle is easy to use while riding.
The only small problem I've had while using it, was a ride in some very muddy weather, but after cleaning it i found the reason to be a small rock, which got stuck underneath the handle.
But overall it is a great and cheap seatpost, which can take some abuse while riding and/or crashing.

If you can take your hand of the bar for a second, this works really well
