Purchased these after reading some positive reviews and I have to disagree them all. These are really awkward fitting and uncomfortable. The padding is in no way ergonomic and does not fit to the body. The closures that wrap around and velcro down are narrow and uncomfortable - I just can't understand how a company like Dainese can get this so wrong?!? If you folded up some cardboard and bent it round your elbows and then tied it on with some elastic bands you would not be far off from the same fit as these (bar the materials of course). Really not great and not worth the money - come on Dainese you can do better.

I have only just started using armour so I've not got much to compare them with.
I bought these after buying some cheap hard pads for DH days.
For most of my riding these are a million times better.
Really comfortable to wear. You really do forget you're wearing them.
Movement is great, you don't feel restricted at all.
Really breathable, don't find them sweaty.
They seem to offer a decent level of protection for most riding. Like me, you might want something a bit more robust for DH days but other than that I'd say they'd do the job. Luckily, I haven't tested this though.
Quality seems really good. They are not cheap but worth the money in my opinion.
The only negative I can say about them, and it's not that they are bulky at all and anyway it's a positive in a way, is that they are quite long and wide. They are great under a long sleeve top but might stick out a bit if you had short sleeves on. Having said that, as they warm up they become more flexible and mould to your body shape anyway which means they stick out less..
Overall I love them. But the best thing about them for me is that I wear them rather than keeping them in the cupboard because they are so big and bulky!
