o.k. so a replacement hanger from DMR may seem like the obvious choice but there are companies out there who make replacements out of stronger grade aluminium which are worth considering. Bolts are just plain annoying and less than solid. Worst hangar I've ever had on a mountain bike, that said the frames these come bolted to are competent and rewarding tools so we forgive you DMR.

I've went through two of these in quick succession. Granted riding north shore trails, but the hanger is worse than cheese and I reckon part of the reason is the shoulder it has does not sit against the drop out so it has no support. But in saying that I can only assume it protected the frame as intended. Solution for me has been to replace the hanger, and the frame, with a Cove Handjob - no replaceable hanger, just good old tuff steel. Not a single problem since. There is a valid argument that replaceable hangers are overkill on a steel frame!
