Rated 5 out of 5 by 21 March 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great grips in amazing colours. Yet another great product from DMR. Great grips, solid built, well designed. The rubber/silicone grip body is really responsive due to the well spaced and deep pattern. The thread itself wears quite quickly when used with gloves but at this price you can get new pair every 6 months. Only one lockon ring gives them a bit of play- but it is predictable and does not affect the performance at all. The bar ends are probably the best ends I have ever used and they last absolutely ages. The lockon ring is sturdy and the pinch screws are big enough not to get rounded after first time fitting. The funny anecdote about them: once, when I was experimenting with them and turned them around to keep the lockon ring outside to support my palms, a suspicious individual approached me and stated that those JWC grips are his favourites too (here: DMR logo when turned upside down says JWC)- FAIL 21 February 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by My favourite grips Great, loads of grip. Soft rubber with deep tread. Really comfy on the hands. Lock on system is fool proof and bomb proof. Dirt cheap, too. Only problem that I ran into was that they fell apart really fast when I was riding with gloves. But that was my mistake, they aren't meant to be ridden with gloves. But even worn down the way they are, they still have lots of grip and are comfortable! 21 August 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by 5 stars These feel really good, nice and beefed up. The colors are saturated, not light, good quality although the little rubber bits in the DMR logo are coming off already. Really grippy. 01 July 2012

I tightened the screws in both ends, but it still feels loose.
Is there any other things I should be aware of when installing them?

Cheers,
Martin

Answer:
First of all make sure they are fitted correctly- screw end goes inboard, the soft end goes on the outside next to the bar end. Clean your bars prior to fitting them and make sure that the grips are clean inside too. Pop them on, lockon end in first, tighten the screws alternating them.

They will have a bit of play on the outside (soft end) but it's nothing to worry about. I sometimes tend to pop the bar ends on first and while doing up the lockon grab screws I push the grips towards the outside of the bars really hard so they wedge against the bar plugs. Easy!

Answer:
I'd say they're not that bad without gloves. With gloves they wear within couple of months and within 6 months ish they're gone.

With no gloves on they wear in within 3-4 months and they last about a year at most. I ride my bike in all conditions, approximately 70-100 miles per week. That is what I base my review on.

We currently stock a wide range of brands and their products, and although we would like to stock every product, we unfortunately cannot. We may get this item in stock in the future.

The best option is to keep an eye on our website for new stock.
