Great tyre for street riding, hard pack trails and dirt jumps. Directional tread pattern with deep tread blocks. Closely spaced with a round profile for street and skate park, but with enough space so that they can still grip on the trails. 60 TPI casing and large volume resits hang-ups or harsh landings.

Went from running both Maxxis holy roller 2.4 to both r/t 2.4s. Very similar tyres BUT these have a slightly different tread - the squares are less exposed so I haven't had any rubber bits chipping off these, making them last longer. Good quality, VERY grippy on the road, however USELESS in wet mud... perfectly fine on dry though, and the big size is great for landing jumps on :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous A great all round tyre
I bought a set of these last summer and found they work great on all surfaces. I was planning on changing to something when the winter set in but after a couple of muddy rides I decided not to. Don't believe all the reviews, these will quite happily pull you through wet mud. You just need a good technique and a smooth pedal action. My friend uses Moto Diggers and I've manage to get through everything he does. Coupled with excellent road grip and low noise these make fantastic all round tyres.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous using the 2.4 versions for a long while now, no good on skinny rims but on wider rims they corner like a pro at 40PSI. it says on the tyre wall they can be pumped up to 65 PSI but mavic say 48...
bought these cause i CBA to change from slicks for commuting to mud tyres in the winter and knobblies on any other stuff and most of the local rides are sandy around here anyways. obvo they're crap in mud! they cope better when it just damp but on the dry, hardpack and tarmac they absolutely rip! not really had many punctures and they aint to slow either :)

Rated 3 out of 5 by Anonymous great grip on tarmac - sidewalls like a wet paper bag.
been running these tyres for a few years now they make for a fun commute - however if you curb the sidewall they literally shred in front of your eyes
and it's time to bin or spend half your life sat by the side of the road!
anyone tried the kevlar versions - do they offer better sidewall protection ?

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous Amazing tire. currently running these for this winter as of being quite thick and drippy in wet conditions. Best thing about these is that their quite thick and glass wont go through these as easy as it did for my other tires. look great and perform well too! RECOMMENDED!!!

Got these in 2.2 folding to replace knobby 2.1s on my Voodoo Bantu.
I mostly cycle on roads, but these hold good grip even on wet grass.
I was surprised that they look thinner then my old tyres but for me the size is perfect.
Logos on the sides of these tyres look awesome.
Was a bit cocerned when i got them because when you take them out of packaging they look nasty and uneven but once fitted and inflated they become straight.
These are easy to fit without any tools and don't need aligning as they just fit the rims.
Would definatly recommend and will buy more when these wear out.

ok first off the chaps that are rating this tyre down coz of its poor preformance in the wet are stupid. its a dj tyre. if you ride dj in the winter you are ruining the lips of the jumps and you should slide out and fall. secondly i will buy these tyres for aslong as they make them. best dj tyre i have every used. i rode the a 2.2 wire on the rear and the folding on the front for 2 whole years and they still had about 20% left. they were on my school/dj bike. and i only ever got one flat. plenty of big cases and bad backflips. buy these. if u wana know how good they are just ask danny mackaskill. he uses these tyres. i think a nuff said
