The Mag V12 is our ultimate pedal, we used a specially developed magnesium alloy that is 30% lighter than aluminium but just as tough, to shave 100g off the weight of our standard V12... Features: • Colours: Bone Grey, Code Red, Diamond Black, SIlver, White • All the great features of the standard V12, but… • Exclusive colours and gold end caps distinguish • These top-flight pedals from the rest of the bunch • Die-cast from a special magnesium alloy which is 30% • Lighter than aluminium but just as tough • Weight: 434g, 354g when fitted with optional titanium axles

Fantastic grip and option to fit terror pins (watch your shins tho!). These pedals free-up after just a handful of rides and will spin really easily. Easy to service and change axles. There's an option to add DMR's titanium axles to take off another 90 grams or so. Paint does come off quite easily as the metal seems soft-ish. Still one of the all-time great flat pedals!

I've been pretty happy with these pedals. Up until buying these peddals I had always ridden on cheep and nasty flats so the DRM V12s were a MASSIVE step up.
I've been riding them for over 12 months in all manner of XC and gravity conditions, I'm 110kg so I put a fair force through them.
Despite many many pedal strikes the pedal spin action is still perfectly smooth and the pedals are still really nicely balanced, something you would expect from a pedal of this quality. I haven't paid any special attention to cleaning them at all in fact they have been largely thrashed and mistreated.
I bought spare terror pins because I was told I would probably rip some out on rocks, and I did, however the problem is in ripping out the pins the holes have been damaged, so new pins wont stay in. In future I will probably try pedals that have pins that screw through the pedal rather that into it.
So with the exception of the pins issue these pedals have been fantastic and definitely worth the money.
I would definitely recommend them.

My first 5 star review. These pedals have copped a beating! They are scratched up like you wouldn't believe but still spin like new. I've had to replace a few of the pins but that's always expected when you ride as much sandstone as badly as I do. I recommend buying spare pins when you get the pedals so you have them - they're cheep!
These pedals were recommended to me and I would definitely recommend them to you.

Nice pedals with famous DMR-V12 grip... but there is on BUT: material is very soft, so if you would had a grind on a rock - it will most probably not only lose a pin, but deform pin-hole hardly, so it will be impossible to cut a new thread again.

I was contemplating whether to stick with flats or follow the sheep down the SPD route and I'm so glad that I chose these pedals instead. They looked amazing on my bike in Code Red and the quality was second to none, especially with the sick Titanium axles which reduce the weight of these again! Grip is exceptional no matter what kind of shoes you ride in, however you need to be careful if you do come off of these as they will tear you to shreds! Because of the soft metal the paint does not last long so I would suggest that you go for the silver or slate black colour. I managed to tear a pin out of them going through a pretty hairy rock garden but they are easily replaced! A must buy if you like flats!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous lightweight but not bulletproof
A very lightweight and grippy flat pedal. Would definately recommend upgrading to terror-pins as the improved grip is incredible!
These pedals don't take a beating though. Ideal for use in softer-ground locations such as woodland trails. Took my bike to Scotland and the Peak district, and these pedals got battered and a few pins bent in their threads, causing the thread to be stripped and thus rendering the pinholes useless. Not to mention the ease at which the pedals are scraped and scuffed. Those lovely paint choices don't las long if you intend to ride your bike like a nutter...

After using Shimano Dx pedals for many trouble free years they were starting to look very well used...so my friends recommended these DMR V12 Magnesium.....what a load of rubbish they are, I think I am going to send them back for a refund, lasted a total of 4 weeks and they feel cheap, they rattle and after taking them to my local store to tighten the bearings up the thread on the bolt was non existent so I could not tighten or loosen...I have since gone back to the DX's...shame I could not rate them zero... but 1 will do for the looks....will never go near a set again even if they were free.....

I've had a pair of these for about four years on my current bike and I had a set on my old STP400. They've seen some serious abuse in that time and I've had to do precisely nothing to them with regard to maintenance. Fantastic grip, particularly if you wear FiveTens, but as another user pointed out, they will shred your shins if you lose your footing on a jump. They're certainly much better built than the V8s I started with. You pays your money, I suppose, but these are up there with Chris King headsets in my opinion, with regard to their "fit and forget" build quality.
