Rated 1 out of 5 by Very dissapointing After a year or so of use (although I don't remove my wheels that often), I found on trying to undo the skewer that the lever had stripped and would not engage... on inspection the hard alloy teeth of the actual tightening nut engage with the plastic handle directly - no metal/metal interface - so guess what - the whole thing gets shredded. Just a ridiculous major fault... 25 March 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Expensive and short lived Two stars as it did last 2 years but the teeth have worn and snapped off the plastic tightener and this small object is not available as a replacable part. It's pretty obvious that a plastic tightener that should be 'tightened to at least 14 nM' is going to fail at some time, why not add a couple in with the package when you buy it - after all it is 40 qhid for a skewer! Very poor value for money and very bad environmentally. 16 August 2011
Rated 2 out of 5 by Light but short lived This is light and does offer improved stiffness over 9mm. However, I had this 3 months (had the wheel off maybe 10 times) and the splines on the plastic handle burred, I thought I'd tighten the red bolt to see if it would grip better, but it instantly snapped under minimal torque. I've just ordered a 10mm superstar QR, which is heavier but I much prefer this proven method of release, and the metal handle doesn't flex like the plastic RWS handle. 26 July 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by Love this product but the lever has parted company with the axle...are spare parts avaiable?? 06 June 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by Rear 10 x 150mm. This came as part of the 1550 Tricon wheel set. Not in use yet so star scoring a mute point , 67g of Kern digital scales. 17 February 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by Don't tighten the red allen! Initially I tried to tighten the red allen as wasn't getting tight enough, and it snapped. Don't do this!! I managed to get it replaced and discovered that the QR was a bit too long for my Intense SS, so I added in a couple of washers and presto, works like a dream!! It is very light and doesn't seem to come undone despite very bumpy HK trails. Better than the NC-17 which is cheaper but I think this is worth the extra pingas. 13 February 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by This came standard on the front of my new 2010 spesh stumpy. hold everthing together very well. although im worrying that latter the ratchet sytem may give in. but for now its ace and look cool to. 28 June 2010
Rated 3 out of 5 by poor for DH I use this thru bolt on my FR 2350. Ratchet already worn out. If you don't tighten up screw, it gets easily loose. Alredy almost lost my rear wheel :o) If you tighten up bolt well, soon or later ratchet gets worn. All lasted about 3 months of riding in Fort Bill and Innerleithen. But, I guess better than normal stuff ;-) 22 June 2010

Not being a Privee dealer I have no way to confirm, but they list a 12x135mm Maxle dropout for the Shan on their current website (http://www.production-privee.com/PB...) so you should be able to use a 135mm Maxle such as that linked below.
