Rated 3 out of 5 by Wouldn't buy again This kit was fiddly to fit then worked ok for some months, but my long term experience has not been good. The strip is a hard plastic material on top of double sided tape. The strip is not the best fit for the rim, it can get displaced and creased by the tyre bead when fitting or repairing punctures out on the trail. Plus the valve is not bonded to the rim strip, now that the system is older, this seal is leaking, and putting more air in often moves the valve, breaking the seal again. Also, after breaking a spoke, its a PITA getting the strip off of the sticky tape to repair. I used a Stans kit on my other wheels, and I think their system is much better, easier to fit and more reliable for longer. A rubber rim strip, no sticky tape needed plus bonded valve is a winner for me. 13 February 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by good and easy to install If you have dt swiss rims and want to drive tubeless, this is the way to go. It's good quality material and easy to install. I use this in combination with panaracer tires and never had a flat tire in the 12 months that I use this kit. There is hardly any loss of pressure even after a month of no riding. Just remember that this kit is only for one rim... 08 April 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Simple effective ...not cheap. Installed on 4.2D rims with Maxis Igniters. You don't get much in the box for your money. Installation is simple just make sure that the rim is clean and that the tape and strip go on centrally to the inner rim. After battling with the LUST igniters, a track pump inflated the tyres with ease. In with the sealant and a quick rotation/ stans shake! Pump back up and ride. No bother just sore thumbs! Highly recommended if you have a spare £60 hanging around. 25 July 2008

En l'UST cap problema (exepte petita fuga a la soldadura de la llanta) inclòs sense el líquid. La normal perdia com un cistell, però quan hi afegeiges el liquid queda tot estanc. La coberta normal resulta una mica rebotona i pateixo pels laterals, així que no baig amb presions massa baixes, però en conjunt una passada! És una llàstima que DT no vengui el liquid per separat (i que sigui tan car!) 06 November 2007
Rated 4 out of 5 by Excellent After a year of use without punctures it is clear that it is the best weight reduction one could have for the circumferance of the wheels. Loose the inner tube (200gms), rim strip (20 grams) and gain 20 grams of the DT strip plus maybe 100 grams of the sealant. Use your old tyres and you lost 100 grams of the wheel. moreover you can run lower pressures (20-30 PSI)without risking pinch flats. and you have no punctures anymore. have used with nokian tyres and with specialized. it is a bit fidly too install. A pressure pump and CO2 canister makes it much easier. Stans sealant is better on everyday punctures than the DT one, therefore, only 4 stars. Good luck 08 November 2006

This kit is for one wheel only. You will need to purchase two kits in order to convert a pair of wheels.
