Rated 2.6 out of 5 by 11 reviewers.
Rated 1 out of 5 by Piece of garbage Bought this ex cog when I went to a 1x10 drive train. As with the other reviewers, the chain would keep slipping from the ex cog under load. I spent countless hours tinkering with it and even had a buddy of mine try it on his bike to make sure the product was defective. Eventually I returned it to CRC for a refund. Save yourself the frustration, time, and money and go with a OneUp ex cog. Their ex cog works perfectly and I should have went with them in the first place. 12 October 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Warning : Do NOT Buy This component is absolute rubbish, ( read other reviews) Brand new drivetrain fitted with this EX cog under any moderate load the drive skips and slips, Compared tooth cut to other Range Extended cogs e.g., Wolf tooth The E Thirteen tooth cut is a complete joke, Rounded over teeth thus causing slipping. All other cog teeth cut are nicely sharp shaped e.g. like any cassette Low End product could not be bother sending back at more cost TO the recycling dumpster CRC take it off for sale listing 03 October 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great product I got one of these for my XT cassette with Race Face Narrow Wide ring. It was easy to fit and has run now for 4months faultlessly. The blue even matches my bike :) 02 October 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by yes if you are not afraid to work on. I have a shimano xt cassette whit an xt chain and a slx crank.I convert my double slx in a single. I adjust my crank to be strait as possible but the chain still skip.It was a nigh mare untill i shape the tooth of the gear ring like the other guy.Now every think works perfect. Maybe the problem is only with shimano;to bad the compagnie doesn't try there products before they put it on the market. I try 40t and 42t and both have the same problem. 26 September 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by nul la chaîne saute dans les montées raides malgré un réglage correct. les dents semblent pas assez hautes??? a éviter; 70€ de perdu 21 September 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Didn't do what it said on the tin Bought and fitted this as part of a 1x10 conversion to an XT drivetrain. Followed the instructions to the letter (not that there's much room for error there), but when I refit the wheel to my bike the indexing of the gears was out of synch. Try as I might, I couldn't get the indexing to work myself, so I took it to a professional mechanic. He couldn't get it right either - he improved on my efforts slightly, but the indexing was still out. I sent it back to CRC under a warranty claim, but in the end eThirteen sent it back saying there was no fault, and that it must be 'user error'. So, a big fat waste of money for me. I have to say that CRC have been outstanding in dealing with the warranty claim, and made a goodwill gesture on a Hope T-Rex Expander cog. Will never buy another eThirteen product - will use CRC whenever I can. 16 September 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by This product doesn't worth it The chain started jumping up after the first day. This happen when I put torque during climb. Same issue...a small notch is starting to develop on the inside of the pickup ramp. I will try to sand the teeth as mentioned in previous comments. Price is high and quality is not there... 03 September 2014

Answer:
Afraid not. Your cassette wont break down into sufficient parts. They are for XT 10 speed cassettes (and SRAM equivalent). The 15 or 17 tooth cog and spacer must be removed to make room for it.
