Rated 1 out of 5 by do not buy These tyres were unusable within two weeks of purchase, after one puncture the hole in the tyre continued growing until it completely warped. 04 February 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great tyre Brilliant tyre but prone to punctures. Fast at rolling and not bad with 50psi max . 24 September 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Good for starting out on, but not great for hard riding These came stock on my Eastern. Compared to some other tires they have very little 'buzz' so if you like silent rolling they are good. I've used them extensively on street, skatepark, wood ramps and hardpack. They are very consistent and tend to give a decent warning before they let go (more on this in a minute). Rolling resistance is extremely low even at lower pressures. They are very light as well. This is due to the thin casing and sidewall. Unfortunately this ends up being the biggest problem. Firstly, they are very prone to punctures from small stones - far more so than any other tires I've used. They can push through the tread and/or get embedded very easily. Expect to be seeing loads to scars and pits after riding on gravel. The main fault is the 50psi max pressure. I run them at 60 but looking at the sidewall and bead do not want to go higher than that. Even then it really squirms under load. This wasn't a problem when I got the bike and wasn't that good, but now I carve and pump very aggressively and they simply aren't up to the job. The rear especially folds hard when cornering. For reference I now run a 100psi fit faf at the rear to keep it under control. I still have the stock one up front at 60 and even then I can clearly feel it straining when carving. All in all they will serve you very well if you are new to the sport, but I absolutely would not recommend buying them if you know you strain your tires. I haven't used the high pressure version but I imagine it is excellent at 100psi. 01 June 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by so far so good great tyre, even held up for me in the snow! dont seem to be as wide as the opposing fit bike co. "f.a.f's" but there you go, a great tyre anyway! even the limit 50psi got me amased that it was rock hard, i couldnt beleive my eyes. 26 December 2009
