Easton Havoc MTB Wheelset

Trying to shed some weight off of your downhill or All Mountain race bike, but don’t want to compromise durability? Get the Havoc wheelset. These wheels can go toe-to-toe with any wheel on the market, despite their competitive weight. Need more proof? Havoc wheels are proven on the downhill world cup and the Havoc DH (this wheels bulky brother) is the official wheel of the Whistler Bike Park. Talk about abuse.

Full UST tubeless compatibility right out of the box means fewer flats and an end to the headaches involved with “ghetto tubeless”. These wheels will make your bike look sexy too, with two available colors---bold, orange anodized hubs and matching water-transfer graphics or a stealthier, low profile grey. The features don’t end there. Havoc wheels run a nice, wide, 23-millimeter inner rim width; high-quality Sapim spokes; Easton’s proprietary internally/externally threaded nipples (which are trued like any other wheel, with a standard spoke wrench) and sealed cartridge bearings. The Havoc wheelset is built entirely by hand and acoustically tuned to ensure that these wheels stay straight and true jump after jump.

Rear axle dimension & compatibility

Hello, is the rear axle a 135x10mm Quick Release? Would this fit onto my 2008 Rocky Mountain Slayer SXC which is currently fitted with a 135x9mm Quick Release axle?

Answer:
Yes; Easton have changed the way they identify/ list the wheels (they list them by frame dropout size rather than the axle itself). Their 135x10mm is a standard 9mm quick release and should fit your SXC without any trouble.

Answer:
This Havoc rear wheel is the M1-321 hub, which can be converted to 12mm (135 or 142mm) by switching the sub axle and end caps to the relevant Easton parts as listed on the image below (#2031758 axle, #2027510 & #2031797 for 142x12).
