Rated 4 out of 5 by Fun to use These are my first set of rollers. I've used turbo trainers in the past but I find them so mind-numbingly boring that I hoped these would be more entertaining and hence be more useful. They were easy to set-up, and initially it is easy to fall of, or rather roll off. I had already scuffed the top surface on my first go, so there's little hope of returning these unmarked if unsatisfied. I only took about 10 minutes of supported riding to get the confidence to ride unsupported, and then they are good fun. Much quieter than my turbo, as long as you are using fairly smooth tyres, so I can listen to speech radio or music with greater enjoyment. You can never stop concentrating completely with them, but that's part of the entertainment. I think I'd prefer metal to plastic, but as far as plastic goes, these are OK. 16 August 2012
