Rated 5 out of 5 by Glenn10 One of the best things i have bought in a long time.
My fitness has improved noticeably . My technique has improved. My balance has improved and i get on the bike more. They are noisy with mountain bike tyres but worth it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Daytona Practical and easy to use
Even during the winter I usually go out on the road at night after work, but lately the weather had killed my motivation to do that so I decided to try these rollers. I was a bit apprehensive about how easy it would be to ride on them having seen some YouTube clips of people falling off but they’re actually really easy to use.
Out of the box I had to move the front roller forward but this is just a couple of bolts and takes 60 seconds Set them up in a doorway so your shoulders can rest on the door frame. Once you get going you need to look ahead, keep relaxed arms and pedal smoothly at a reasonable cadence. Took a couple of minutes to get the feel for riding on them when I needed the assistance of the door frame but after that I was able to finish a 30 minute session unassisted. I don’t think they’re as difficult to ride as some would suggest .
They seem expensive for what they are but then again as rollers go they’re at the lower cost end. They appear to be well made, not too heavy and fold in half making them easy to store when not in use. This was important for me as I don’t have room to set them up permanently. In use they’re not too noisy either.

If you want cheap, no frills, get you going rollers, then get these.
The frame is solid and stable, the setup is straightforward.
A couple of rubberised stickers protect the metal frame when you're getting on and off.
The rollers are fairly smooth and resistance as you like - everything from 100 to 350 watts with 'normal' cadence #90-110 rpm# on a compact chainset with 11-28 cassette. Not enough resistance for simulating grinding climbs, but then that's not what you want rollers for.

if you decide to train at home, i think the rollers are an excellent choice.
it took me 3 sessions to be able to roll normally, without falling, and 6 to train, max speed etc... just keep your eyes ahead, and don't pay attention to who passes by to your right or left, will definitely go from right to left very quickly but will not be thrown out, if you stay calm and take advantage at the elevated bar ends.
quiet, meaning the baby two rooms next, will not understand a thing, but you can't watch the movie at the same room.
over all, it is better from the static, because you exercise the upper body also.
excellent choice. if it was a little bit cheaper..........

These rollers are good value and easy to adjust. Compact and quite light fold to carry easily. They do however tend to produce a massive amount of static.... Mostly dependant on clothing but be aware. I am looking for a way to earth myself at the moment. The other option apparently is to get a set with Aluminium rollers. Still a great product.

Excellent fold-away rollers fit under the bed in the summer. I've had a set of Tacx Antares before, but prefer these due to the fold and the slightly lower rear wheel height. (?) They arrive needing an adjustable spanner to tighten the roller nuts, about five minutes, then away you go.
My 'indoor' bike is a Mezzo D9 folding bike with 16" wheels and smooth Kojak tyres. The bike sits on the rollers with no adjustment needed and away you wobble. You'll be fine after 30 mins, but set them up in a doorway or against a wall if it's your first time. A desk fan keeps you cool in the summer.
Rollers are good for folding bikes with 16" or 20" wheels like Bromptons or Dahons, as turbo trainers don't fit, and are fairly quiet. You need to concentrate while on them; they really sharpen up your balance.
Resistance changes are made by changing gear, I rarely spin along in top, using mainly the first three 'easy' cogs on the cassette.
I've used these with my road bike with a smooth tyre, and they really get you in trim over winter, even with a couple of 15 minute sessions per day.
Arrived in 48 hours from Chain Reaction and perfect for apartment dwellers, as they fold in half, after releasing the two retaining catches on the hinges.
(Clean your tyres first to avoid grime spinning up against your indoor walls.)

Bought these being unsure whether they would be a viable option for my MTB and was somewhat concerned when the instructions for use mentioned that they didn't recommend the use of the rollers with MTB tyres. Had never used rollers before but after 10-15 minutes of practice in a doorway ( a good idea since you can't fall over ! ) I soon found I was able to ride for a few minutes at a time. Within half an hour I had reached the point where I could ride for as long as I wanted without needing any additional support. I don't have room for an MTB and a fitness bike so using my MTB on rollers is an ideal way for me to keep in shape in all weathers. Obviously with knobblys the rollers make a lot of noise but I would imagine they would be nice and quiet with road tyres. A simple product which seems to be well made and should last a long time. I would recommend these to anybody. No problem using an MTB on them either, at least at lower speeds. I train with high cadence in lower gears, it is possible that MTB tyres are less stable than road tyres at higher speeds but for fitness training this need not be an issue. If these rollers ever break I would happily buy them again, I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous Great rollers at a great price. Up and running in 5 mins.
These were my first ever rollers, I didn't even know roller trainers existed until I stumbled across a roller training video on YouTube. I bought these so I could keep doing daily milage whatever the weather.
The rollers arrived within 48hours and after quickly measuring my axle to axle distance and positioning the front roller in the right place I was good to go. An adjustable spanner is all that was needed. I am 100 kg and these rollers felt sturdy and solid to me. I was up and running within 5 minutes (don't be frightened to get some speed up -it's the gyroscopic effect of the spinning wheels that allows you to balance). To me the resistance at 20 mph as similar to regular outdoors riding and my very first training ride was 25 miles whilst listening to the radio in the kitchen without a single accidental dismount. Make sure your tires are pumped up to the recommended pressure, I was running brand new gatorskins 700x25 and they showed no wear whatsoever and the ride was very smooth like riding on a sheet of glass.
These are great, just buy them. Boardman Hybrid Team Large fits perfect.
