Rated 4.1 out of 5 by 16 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Bang for bucks With pros and cons stated below. However, after about 6 months of usage, I sold it to a happy buyer and bought myself an Elite Parabolic Roller. Never looked back since. :) 18 October 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice quiet stationary trainer. Bought this on special from CRC. Compared to my old trainer this is amazing, so quiet that I can use it in front of the TV without having to dial the volume up. Easy to set up and use. 22 September 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great trainer, unexpectedly quiet I set up my trainer and expected it to be really noisy, however it was a pleasant surprise to find that spinning at 90 RPM doesn't give much noise at all. The actual gel tire landing strip should be put over to the right a little more as the 700C tire only just fits. 21 July 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Super entry level model I bought this following an accident where I had a broken arm. So I was looking for a solution where I had no vibrations and this fitted the bill (as all other turbo trainers would). However I found it easy to set up, clear instructions and fitted well with a Giant Defy Composite. having used it for about 2 months I don't find it too noisy with no neighbours or family complaining. The unit is steady but I would recommend that you get a raiser block which disappointingly doesn't come included. I used an old yoga mat to put it on so all was set up! I got this at a very good price from CRC plus another €15 discount so overall the value is outstanding. Fantastic for an entry level model but it also has 7 resistance levels. 29 May 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by POOR DESIGN, DOES NOT SUIT ALL FRAMES Sadly this trainer does not suit frames with internal mechanical cables that run near the drive side drop out. The drive side spigot will hit the cable socket and you risk damaging the frame if you force or try using the trainer (see images). And no the frame should not be cut back to avoid the trainer. There are cut outs on the drive side support spigot but not in the correct place to avoid the cable and CRC advise this is only for the skewer lever. I always run my skewers on non drive side and have not seen the practice of running the lever on the drive side mainly because it does not fit and risk is clashing with derailleur during change. If the trainer had design modifications it could work. A top solution would be to have drive side support rotationally adjustable so it would fit most modern carbon frames with internal cables. The cut outs are currently in the wrong place. I have purchased many items from CRC but this has not been a positive experience as the responsibility of fit has been placed totally on the customer. There was no warning that it does not fit all frames. I would return the item but the shipping cost from AU for this heavy item is greater than the value of the product. I hope this review will help other buyers from the heart-ache I have experienced. I'm stuck with a non-useable item. There are some items that are better purchased in a bike shop and not online. 19 May 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by precio calidad OK Es bastante silencioso y estoy contento. la verdad es que no le meto mucha caña...... pero esta bien 21 March 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 Хорошее соотношение Цена/Качество Покупка оправдала себя.8 уровней нагрузки хватает за глаза,чтобы подготовится к лету. 19 March 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great indoor training Bought this to keep fit in winter. The frame of the trainer is very robust and light, it's easy to fold and it also can be used as a service stand. I like it very much. Thus I can't say so about my neighbour from below:) The trainer is somewhat noisy - I solved it with a mat and a drop of pure refined hatred for my neighbours :) I thorougly recommend it for use - it's a good way to keep fit withought waisting loads of time to get dressed, gear up and only then - ride. 16 March 2014

Answer:
You don't need a riser block with this trainer, if you do wish to use one to simulate climbing a telephone directory or house brick represent a far cheaper alternative to the overpriced ones the manufacturers sell.

It depends on the diameter of your axle. My Elite SuperChrono Power came complete with a 9mm QR axle with enlarged nut and lever - to fit better in a trainer frame.

Setting for a 700c size wheel?

Hi, I received my new turbo trainer from you on Wednesday and am very happy with it so far.
But I wish to know which setting I should set it to for a 700c size wheel please?
You can set it up to take a 26" a 28" and a 29" therefore should I set my 700c road bike wheel up on the 28" or the 29" setting?
Also what would be the best grease to use on my "QR" spindles please?

Answer:
For a road bike (700c) wheel the 28" setting is the closest to this wheel size and it the advised setting.

Using grease on the spindles is not always necessary but should you feel the need to do so, a decent grease will be fine to use (see the suggestion below).

Batteries Included?

I just took delivery of one of these from you and I'm pleased with it. It's sturdy, easy to set up for my Trek 7100 hybrid and good value for money but I'm a bit confused by the instructions. Listed under Attention (page 22 - English section) is reference to the "computer and transmitter" and advice to remove the batteries from both for long term storage. I don't see anything I'd call a computer. Do they mean the 8 level adjuster? I've looked closely at all parts of the trainer and I can't find any sign of anywhere which may opened to remove or replace batteries. Are there batteries in this model and if so how does one get to them, please. Thanks.
