Great base layer. Ideal for warmth and not too hot.

Great quality merino wool product.
This baselayer (as all merino wool products) keeps all odours away. It's unbelievable. I wear the same baselayer for TWO MONTHS and it doesn't smell anything! Really usefull when touring.
Another point is the way it feels: I have never felt anything annoying with its touch on my skin.
Furthermore when sweating it is fast enough drying, although not as fast enough as a synthetic one.

Doesn't feel as nice against the skin as I hoped but the wicking is incredible. Almost dry after hours in the saddle. If only the supposed "breathable" outer layers were as good.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Allan93 OK but I'm not sure I like wool.
I've been using Endura BaaBaa Merino tops for a while now, bought this one to replace one that was accidentally included in a hot tumble dry load and ended up three sizes too small.
It is very warm and if you're out on several rides over a weekend, it doesn't smell like a stale gym bag between washes.
Stitching quality and fit is great and it is very comfortable - I usually hate the feel of wool but this is kind of OK. I am also trying a Helly Hanson Warm-Freeze top as that is dual layer with the Merino wool as the outside layer. Feels better for me but is more expensive and not really much warmer.
If you don't mind the feel of wool then this Endura top is perfect.

I have quite a few merino tops now, gradually binning all of the synthetic smelly ones and think the Endura is very good value. I wear 150 grade tech ts from the other well known manufacturer all year round and put this long sleeve one, which is cheaper, over the top in colder weather. An excellent combo.
Sizing is a bit idd though, i am usually an XL but a 'large' icebreaker and a XXL endura. As long as the fit is fine, which it is, I don't care what size the label says it is, just be aware you may have to order a size bigger than you normally take.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Noranuko Heavy, itchy wear that cost too much
It costs as much as the merino inner wear of reputable brand(sale price) but quality is by far lower.
Add $20 and buy other nice merino.
I've spend half of its price to return next day I've got it.

This base layer is great .You can wear it alone in 10-15 degrees celcius or 0-5 with an additional jersey(i have a l-s endura) and you feel no cold at all.the merino wool is a high quality fabric, durable and lightweight and it does not stink at all.As for sizing I ordered a medium(my chest in the sizing table is xsmall to small, waist s to m)and it's perfect; just a little loose at the chest.
It's a great base layer to use in winter ,late autumn, early spring(I live in greece)
