This merino slip over is extremely delicate. The thread count is low and it has been designed with small ventilation holes. Only worn once and one of these holes just opened up, then another, and it slowly started to unravel its self (bit like in the cartoons) tried to darn it but just made it worse. Might be good at keeping you cool but at the sacrifice of a sturdy construction. Worst Endura buy I'm afraid - not as good as their other merino kit!

I have an Orca short sleeved merino top and one of these Endura sleeveless tops. The fabric is very soft and doesn't itch like previous woollen garments I've owned. I am now a convert to superfine Merino wool and would choose a woollen base layer over a synthetic one. Just make sure you follow the wool washing instructions and lay it flat on towels to dry and you should get many years of life out of it. :)

Perfect for cooler temperatures. No itching and can be worn a couple of times without retaining odours (unlike my synthetic base layers). Being sleeveless it enable me to remove armwarmers if the temp rises during a ride.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous In the cooler months i practically live in this baselayer so it is about time I got another so I can wash it once in a while. The merino odour resistance has got to be experienced to be believed and it feels great on the skin too. I will never go near a synthetic baselayer again! Only thing I would change is make the neck a lower cut to make it more suitable for casual wear underneath other clothing.
