Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous Good value toe insulation
These little overshoes really do make a big difference. They save the toes from chilling and although they won't keep the whole foot warm when things get really cold, they do ward off frozen toe miseries extremely well, plus they work brilliantly when it's just mildly cold, as they take the nip off your feet without overheating them. In fact, their only downside is their vulnerability to general wear and tear beneath the shoe (where there's no added protection to save them from rubbing) - so a season or two is probably all you'll get out of them. Still, at £13 that's got to be worth it for warm feet!

These toe covers are small, light, stretchy, and have kept my tootsies warm on a few cold mornings.
However, they have no reinforcement under the toe, so in 2 weeks of use they have worn through from foot dabbing at the lights on my commute. As such, they are probably more suited to being a race garment rather than a durable commuting workhorse.
