Rated 5 out of 5 by Danijar

Rated 4 out of 5 by Juggmeister Very lightweight and subtle
Good jacket, waterproof and breathes decently. No pockets to speak of though. Packs away into it's own little bag.

Брал с собой в Абхазию в сентябре 2013. Эдакий компактный дождевик с мембраной, продирался в ней через ежевику, не разодрал.Непродолжительный дождь (1-2часа)держит хорошо.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous Excellent lightweight jacket
I have used mine for 18 months and have been very pleased with it. I spent quite a long time trying to decide which was the best jacket to buy. Many jackets I looked at were quite bulky and often quite heavy. I wanted mine for road use (including daily commute). I actually bought it in autumn 2010 but used my previous 15 year old gore text jacket through the winter. I was a little apprehensive about the light weight of the Helium and how breathable it would be but its first test was an April 100km ride and I was well pleased. Much lighter than my old jacket so I don't think twice about carrying it with me 'just in case' of wind or rain. There is no internal mesh but there was only a slight sensation of dampness at the end of the 100km. It has since been out in all weathers. I like the close fit - less material to flap in the wind. And I have never had rain leak down my neck. Only two small issues for me - in mine there a small pocket on the right side which is little fiddly to use (but I think the design might have been changed since). The other is that while it has been cut with a longer back than front some extra length at the back would be useful as I often find that my cycle jersey shows an inch or two below the jacket so the jersey can get soggy from the rain and spray. When I bought my Helium it was only available in red or dark grey (I would have preferred lighter colours) so I am pleased to see it's available in white and yellow. I now find myself thinking about whether to get a yellow one for the daily commute.

Tried all sorts of jackets to achieve the optimum showerproof and lightweight version. This jacket is very well designed, light and waterproof. Not too sweaty even in July showers. I went for the medium and it fits fine even though I am a muscular 42 inch chest and 35 inch waist. Offset zip is good as it makes it easier to zip and unzip and keeps it away from your throat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous Excellent jacket for a fair price
Great rain protection, super light and small, good fit and that all for a very fair price.
Sizing information seems to be alright.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous Brilliant jacket, worth every penny
I dithered a lot before buying this. In the end the decision was made for me. There just wasn't anything else in this price bracket that compared well for looks, quality and performance characteristics. I'm very pleased with the item.
Rainproofing so far is good but I have not tested it in a hurricane, obviously. Breathability is also good but I think you lose some of the body warming that comes with standard jackets.
The material looks of very good quality with fine, minute pattern, something the photos on this site completely wipes away

Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous Looks aren't everything...
I'm 5ft 11, medium build. Size M perfect. Looks good in red, lightweight, packs down well into the stuff sack, will fit in road jersey mid pocket. Windproof and breathable. BUT, and it's a BIG BUT. I wore this jacket in light to medium rain twice, and was soaked through both times. The water just seems to flow in through the front zip. Absolutely rubbish for £85. Shame coz Endura are normally good. Returnrd item, spent £120 (internet search) on Gore Path 2 (medium red) - what a difference. Gore-tex is totally waterproof! Also looks cool. CRC needs to stock Gore Bikewear!!
