Kevlar is a lightweight and highly durable yarn with tremendous tensile strength, which denotes the amount of stretching it can withstand before breaking. Kevlar is used on selected Endura products such as protectors, overshoes soles and glove palms to offer protection in the areas that are most vulnerable to abrasion.
This material is used as an additive in all of our skin-tight leg-wear to offer optimal stretch and recovery characteristics.
Men’s 600 Series Gel
The updated 600 series Italian stretch pad features ‘Continuously Variable Profile’ (CVP) technology and is sculpted from a single block of foam, with gel inserts for extra comfort. A TRS perforated foam ’dermis’ layer is positioned under the face for improved blood-flow and wicking especially on longer rides (4 hours and more). Super-soft fast-wicking microfibre face fabric with permanent antibacterial finish. Front mesh panel improves air circulation and anatomic 3D shape.

The material feels nice, I've got the shorts as well which are great, the lower leg material is quite thin not the double thickness, so not really warm - I wouldnt use below about 5 degrees. Main issue for me is there is a sewn seam at the back of the knee, this chafes quite badly; irritating after 20 miles, breaks the (my) skin after 40... Back they go...

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous These are great tights for temps down to 5 degrees C but any colder and they don't keep me warm enough. I also have trouble with the ankle zips popping open while i'm riding. They are a nice fitting and comfortable tights otherwise and have taken some abuse without tearing holes in the fabric.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous Amazing quality but strange sizing
I received these tights as a birthday present from a friend. The quality of the tights is very good, the pad, material, stitching, ankle grippers and zips (apparently a problem in earlier models) are all excellent. My only negative comment is that the Endura sizing chart is not accurate. I have a 34" waist and already own a pair of Endura Xtract shorts in L, which are a little too big for me and the waist, legs and grippers feel quite loose. However, the MT500 tights in L just fit me and also feel tight in the legs, even though I would not say that my muscles are overdeveloped. I would recommend going up one size from normal in these tights however I'm not sure if the same applies to the rest of the MT500 range.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous No for cold weather use.
I have used them for 2 day´s in temp´s around 3-6°C in dry and wet weather. There´s no way these tights are made for winter use!! I love them, but i have to wait until it get´s warmer. If you plan on using them as winter tight´s, then get ready to get cold. Would do great as summer tights here in Iceland (15-20°C on average). No complaint´s about quality or materials in any way, they even survived a good fall on to the asfalt without a scratch. Sizing chart work´s like a charm, 182cm and 82kg fit´s XL nicely.

I've been using these during cold, wet rides for the past year. Not showing any wear, comfortable, and usually warm enough. As the other reviewer mentions though, they are not waterproof, but do a reasonably good job giving some protection before getting really wet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous I've been riding in these all winter, and they're great !! Plenty warm enough and they are suprisingly water resistant to showers, although spray from your rear whel will eventually soak through.
Very comfy panels and pad, oh, and they make your ar*e look great !!
