On my second winter with them, zip has broke velcro doesnt stick and basically you would be better spending a bit more and getting better overshoes that work and do exactly what they say on the tin, hope this helps, Paul, Wexford

Rated 4 out of 5 by Fret BEST PAIR OF OVERSHOES YET.
The good points.
After trying many pairs of overshoes I finally found these about 5 years ago. They are the ONLY overshoe that has kept my feet totally dry on my 9 mile each way commute. They keep your feet warm as well.
This is my 3rd pair of Endura overshoes now, which are almost due for retirement to "second best" and will be replaced by a new pair. Long lasting, they generally last 12-18 months, the current ones are now coming up to 2 years. I had replaced these last year with the MTB style ones, but they are not as waterproof (no coating, the soles rub on cranks and the soles fall to bits quickly. When the MTB ones wore out I dug these out to use once again, despite a couple of holes in them.
Easy to put on and almost 100% waterproof on most occasions.
Not over expensive or flash like some products.
Fit both SPD MTB and normal cleated road shoes.
If you fall off or catch your foot then they tear easily, but can be repaired with sewing and a bit of glue/silicon. Especially if the fasteners for shoes are on the outside.
As stated, the zip can be iffy quality. My first pair had both pulls break and they were replaced under warranty with no quibbles. The replacement pair and this have had no such problems.
Water WILL get in eventually, over the tops if you don't wear overtrousers that cover them, through the rear zip and through the bottom if your cleats, soles or sole to upper are not sealed. For example, one pair of shoes I have leak with them, the other doesn't.
Only now has the front seam started to leak on heavy downpours, but then they are 2 years old now.
I would suggest most negatives abvout them leaking are down to the reasons stated, especially with no overtrousers.
I wear these constantly from October to April, so I think it is a non biased review of the item.
Would I buy another pair? Certainly as I know they work. I could do with them about 30mm longer though

Rated 4 out of 5 by Karlos359 Stylish and affordable. Not 100% though.
I have worn these overshoes a few times now in various conditions and whilst not perfect they at least kept my feet dry.
I bought the silver overshoes version on the grounds that they look far more stylish than just plain black and that the colour may be more visible to other road users. I take a 46 cycling shoe and bought a large. XL was recommended but either size I suspect would suffice. They have got easier to put on and only time will tell to see how long they last in terms of the stretching that goes on when putting on.
In cold or very light water / rain condition these perform well. They kept my feet dry and importantly warm. My white shoes were kept clean. At the end of the ride although there was some moisture in the shoe / sock this was purely down to sweating caused by lack of airflow through the overshoe. In this case a happy compromise.
These overshoes were also required to perform in a torrential downpour when I got caught out at the end of a ride, which saw rivers of water literally flowing down the road. They were unable to keep my feet dry but at least they kept my feet insulated and warm. Perhaps if it had not been such a heavy rainfall they may have performed better, but such was the rain that it just soaked its way down my leggings and into my feet. To be fair to the overshoe none would have coped unless you had waterproofs on that went over the shoe. If it had been a bit of a light shower I think they would have performed slightly better.
Would I buy another pair? Yes I would at the moment. They are stylish and they do keep your feet warm, which even if they are wet is more important.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous Nearly Perfect
I've owned a pair of these for over a year now. I've used them for road spins of 1 to 2.5 hours, Oct'r to April, in all manner of Irish winter conditions. I really like Endura gear for it's design, build quality and value but these fall short of that mark in a couple of areas. Over the years I've used most types of booties; the standard neoprene type, the light PU coated race bootie, and the fabric-goretex style.
- Seal skin finish is excellent for sheding and they are 100% waterproof except for what will leak-in at the cuff via your leggings.
- The fit is very snug (size large bootie on size 42 shoes) from toe to cuff so draughts and water ingress are absolutely kept to a minimum.
- Good velcro strap at cuff, zero zip creep.
- They look good.
- Pull tabs broke off the zippers a few months in. Zips still work just harder to grab.
- Seal skin finish is very delicate, any contact or rubbing will damage and tear it. If, like me, you have a wide foot and/or like to narrow q-factor so that your shoe passes very close to the crank arm then within an hour or two of use you'll probably tear through the seal skin. I have glued on two nylon rub patches just at the rub spot which have worked perfectly for over a year now. This would be easy to design out so I was disappointed Endura didn't catch it.
All that said, when it's wet and cold there isn't really a better type of overshoe you could have on your feet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous excellent winter kit
I have had a pair of these for 2 years now and they hardly look like they have been used. They keep the warmth in and the wind and water out very well and look acceptable too. I have never felt the need to buy winter boots when I have got these and I commute throughout the winter in summer shoes and these.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous Keep your feet warm and dry
I'm about to buy my second pair of these. I wear them on my daily commute from late autum through to early spring and they keep my feet lovely and warm. They also provide great water protection in the heaviest of downpours. The only reason they dont get 5 stars is that they can cut slightly into your heels when you're wearing ankle socks but to counter that I just wear normal length socks!

Rated 2 out of 5 by Anonymous Not to waterproof
I bought these as I was fed up with getting wet feet. They say that they are waterproof on oll the tags when I recieved them but riding in on a wet morning to work my feet were soaking wet and freezing cold. I could understand if they were a little wet as it is hard to stop all the water but they were very wet.
