Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous worst jacket I've ever owned
I cannot really find one good thing to say about the Endura Windchill jacket, in fact it's so bad it could be destined for the bin, unless anyone wants one. Its cold even in dry weather due to its lack of breathability, you just feel damp and clammy all the time, it provides no insulation whatsoever. Once you're stopped, you're cold, damp and soon dithering. Whereas anything that's manufactured in 'Windtex' is a pleasure to wear be it all day or in any conditions. I'd go so far as to say it's the worst jacket I've ever owned.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous Ok so it's a great jacket and a good reduction of 20%,but frankly this is about Chain Reaction Cycles now. A few times in the last 6 months or so I've felt a little let down when some orders were delayed and processed in a rather tardy manner. However this is redemption with a capital DEMPTION!
I ordered the jacket at about 07:00 Friday morning, order was processed and marked as dispatched by 15:00 the same day - great, let's see when it got delivered - only 09:00 Saturday morning. And this was the Saturday before Christmas and I (generally being a skinflint) had opted for free standard delivery!
Congratulations to Santa and his Chain Reaction helpers - they must be warming up for the big day.
Oh yeah, good fit, windproof and waterproof panels blah, blah, blah!

Rated 2 out of 5 by Anonymous Not all that waterproof
This is a good jacket on most criteria - windproof, well-fitting with some useful pockets and a full-length zip, and keenly-priced. However, in good, steady (but not unduly heavy) West of Scotland rain, it kept me dry for the first hour, began to leak by the second hour, and leaked heavily by the end of a short ride (4 hours). So it would be a good commuter jacket, but disappointing under more testing conditions - touring, for example.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous Highly technical garment designed to keep you warm and ventilated in cold weather. It works! The front of the jacket including the arms and shoulders are wind and wet proof. The back of the jacket and the back of the arms are made of a lightweight highly breathable material that functions well. If you heat up quickly there are zipped vents under the arms.
The jacket is incredibly soft and comfortable to wear, once you are on the bike you completely forget that its there, it moves and stretches with your body.
I purchased a size XL. I am 6'4", 183 lbs. I wear a 16-36 (41-91) business shirt and measure 43 inches across the chest. The jacket is a slim fit but there is enough room under it for a light fleece vest if required. It is especially slim from the elbow to the wrist. The collar is perfect and I have a finger width to spare. The body is a very good length coming over my hips to the tailbone. The arms are just long enough.
Highly recommended jacket especially if you tend to heat up and sweat easily. The fit and cut is very suitable to all the tall and lanky gents out there.

I am 6'4", 183 lbs and measure 43 inches across the chest. I wear a size 16/36 business shirt. I am an avid mountain biker but also use my old hard tail for all kinds of errands around town.
I bought this bike jacket in a size XL. The sleeves are just long enough. The body length is perfect, it comes over my hips and covers my backside to around the tailbone area. It is a slim fitting jacket, especially in the arms from the elbow to the wrist. I can comfortably wear a long sleeve base layer and there is room for a light/thin sleeveless fleece type vest if necessary. The collar is a good fit zipped up and is soft on the neck, I have about one finger width of room around the neck.
The jacket is very comfortable as soon as it is on, without doing anything it feels both warm and breathable at the same time. I have not worn it out yet except for a spin around the block to judge its fit on the bike. This review is more for the fit of the jacket. It is however really obvious that the jacket was designed by a bike rider as it is wind/splash proof in the front and shoulders, totally breatheable in the back with additional zipped vents under the arms, a gripper band across the bottom of the jacket to keep it in place and it is soft and stretchy on all points of articulation.
The jacket is very well made, all the important seams are double stitched, the materials well chosen. Overall there is no question that it is a high quality jacket. I plan to review it again in terms of wear and performance sometime in the spring.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous Great Jacket
I'm very fussy with cycling jackets, I own the Gore phantom, contest and a couple of others. I have to say that this jacket is the best I own for cycle training. The best features are the full front windproofing, rear roubaix fabric, full fleece interior, pit-zips, thoughtful reflectives (including reflective dots on the sleeves for signalling at night - brilliant idea) and it has a cut like a jersey, so it doesn't flap or feel restrictive in the cycling position.
It is sized well I am 173 cm (5'8") with a medium build and the medium is perfect, enough room for a base underneath.
The strength of this garment is the full windproofing on the front which has a fleece backing (softshell) this blocks the breeze and soaks up the inevitable sweat. The rear facing of the garment (including sleeves) is 'roubaix fabric' essentially a soft fleecy polyester thta breathes very well. The upshot is that the breeze is blocked but the jacket breathes through the rear of the garment very well. This makes it better than the gore phantom which has full-windstopper sleeves - does not breathe adequately. Whoever designed the windchill is a cyclist - no doubt.
Only downside that I can see is that it wets out quickly in rain, but as it has a fleect front (unlike, say the gore phantom) it never feels cold or clammy.
Overall a superior garment at an excellent price. i can't believe what good value this jacket is. The folks at endura must cycle and ski because they've made a damn good garment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous Quality Affordable Jacket
This is my second piece of clothing purchased from the Endura range. I am very pleased with the quality, design and fit of the clothing. It feels good to wear, is constructed from quality wicking materials and is entirely suitable for Spring & Autumn rides. My only complaint is the sleeves are slightly long and maybe prone to wear & tear but as yet it is too early to comment. Buy one, you will not be disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous Best jacket I've owned
This is the best jacket I own! Bought it as were coming into winter over here and it has kept me nice and snug for a while now. Even on a 0 degree morning we had here recently, the jacket performed flawlessly! Havnt experienced any rain yet but I'm more than happy with it at the moment! Will buy another one when this one wears out. By the way, I'm 6 foot 3 inches tall and athletic build.I have a 108 cm chest and 34 inch waist and the XL fits as well as it should. Hope this helps!
Overall, Well built and WORKS! buy one :-)
