Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 56 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by They work! Picked these up because there are a few particularly rough and rocky sections of trail that I ride regularly where being light and loose on the handlebars is not an option for me. Once adjusted to the right angle these grips definitely reduced the ache that was caused by white knuckling over the lumps and bumps - my hands are thanking me today. 06 October 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by best decision ever Hi, yip they look weird, but OMG the feel is just right. No more stugling for grip on long decents you can drive with the palm of your hand and wee finger leaving the brake fingers to do whatt there meant to do. use these on hard tial XC bike and Enduro bike. 08 September 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Отличные грипсы!!!
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent grips. These are by far the most comfy grips I have ever used on flat/sweep bars, especially for long term touring and extensive cycling. Moulded to your palm they take the pressure off the ulna nerve and tingling fingers are now a thing of the past. I like the cork aesthetic and feel, matching well to my honey coloured Brooks B17 saddle, tho' it must be said that the black rubber insert in the centre of the grip does get a bit 'slimy' with age. It's not something you can wash off, just a deterioration of the rubber compound which on hot days can be a bit sticky. This is apparently a problem with Ergon's choice of rubber and a well-recognised issue with these grips. Anyway, despite all of that, I'm now on my third pair so I'm happy! Expect a good few years out of them, very comfy hands and lots of admiring remarks from other cyclists out there. 21 July 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Удобные грипсы Удобные грипсы, хорошо сидят на реле, завинчиваются, не сдвигаются. Комфортны на длинных поездках. Из минусов цена. Покупал размер маленький, вполне удобные. Рекомендую. 10 July 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by GP-1 супер ! Эргономичные,качественные грипсы GP-1 ! Лёгкий монтаж,крепкие хомуты,симпатичные заглушки. Удобно для руки,но требуют точной настройки 10 July 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by 30 June 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by If there's a better bicycle grip on the market then tell me now. The ergonomic shape of the grip fits perfectly into the hand and gives impressive support. Very comfortable and they look superb. Take an allen key out with you so you can have a play around and find the optimum angle. Top quality and at £24 they are worth every penny. 08 June 2014

Ergon grips large or small?

Are small grips really just for ladies and youngsters or is it about personal preference? I have smallish hands. Are there any rules of thumb, pardon the pun?

Thanks.

Answer:
The sizing really is personal preference and your needs. So you can use a small is you feel it will be a better fit for your self.

The small will have a usable area of 92mm across, so you can compare this to your needs.

Answer:
If you put 'Ergon GP1 grips large or small?' into Google, (or another search engine), you'll discover that both the small and the large grips are the same length but differ in width. Small hands should opt for the smaller grips, which is what I'd recommend for you. You can find more precise details of hand widths/grip sizes on the Ergon site. Hope that helps.

Answer:
Yes, it is possible to fit bar ends with these. The Ergons come with some bespoke bar ends already in the package, in the same biocork brown, but after scratching mine badly over the years, I've swapped them over for some Hope Grip Doctors. These make a great pairing, but any compatible bar ends will do. Just make sure that the bar ends you intend to use are the plug-type ones that insert into your bar, (as most do), and not the cap-type ones which push over the outside of the bar end, (as some do).

About size

I have the similar question: could you please inform about the length of usable area for large size?
I'm a lady but I can't decide about size, maybe large would be more comfortable regardless of the fact that my hand is not large

Answer:
Manufacturer website states:

92mm for Small version and 102mm for Large version.

http://www.ergon-bike.com/us/en/pro...

Women generally have smaller hands, therefore Small size seems to be more appropriate.
