A re-worked version of a best seller. Completely re-designed for 2010, the GR3 now features a composite 3-finger bar end with anti-slip rubber inserts and aluminium clamping mechanism. Adding 10mm in length to the bar end (compared to the previous version) the Ergonomic form has been optimized. The bar end and the grip platform can be independently adjusted for the correct support angle and provides the perfect fit for your individual riding style.
As hand size is different from person to person, Ergon manufactures the GP, GC, GR, GS, GE and GA ranges in two sizes - Small and Large. This difference is in the diameter of the grip. The reason for this is that a larger hand is better able to grip a larger grip with less stress and effort. This is the same in reverse for small grip. A smaller hand needs a smaller grip to allow the hand to close around it. Of course, this is all also down to personal preference.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mistra Good grip, helps spread the weight on your palms
I suffer from pins and needles in the palms of my hands so when I saw this product I thought it was just the ticket. The product looks well made, good quality and easy to fix. They are very comfortable and I would recommend but although much improved they haven't resolved my problem entirely. Suggestions welcome

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous Fantastic and a must for any flat bar bike
Why I never fitted these to my Boardman Hybrid Pro months ago is beyond me as these are simply fantastic for anyone who suffers hand / finger numbness when on a flat bar bike. I have a road bike with drop bars that I regularly do over 70 miles with no numbness but 20 or so miles on the Boardman and the pins and needles start.
After fitting these and several 30+ mile runs there is not even a trace of numbness and you could lay a ruler flat along my wrist position. The end bars give an extra grip position and are a perfect fit for my hand (which would be large).
Cannot recommend these enough!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous Great!! Eases carpal tunnel problems.
I've got carpal tunnel badly in my left hand (moderate to severe diagnosis awaiting surgery in the autumn) and am still tender after the corrective surgery release for the right hand so these grips were bought with big hopes and expectations!! My right hand feels fab!! NO Pain, even after 34 miles on mixed track, trail and road. The left hand is still tending to numbness, tingling and pain but takes longer to come on and isn't as severe, being able to just change my hand position to ease really helps, but I still have to engage in all the shaking business! So although rather costly for grips they really seem worth it and have made my biking more comfortable by a long way. They go on easily, feel robust and well made, the "horn" fits my small hand great and feels warm and grippy, they adjust quickly with an allan key which you will need to take with you for the first ride, but then lock onto the handlebars very firmly. They look great too and cost no more than a decent set of ergonomic grips and bar ends which I also looked at. They are a tad heavy and if you have big hands you won't get your full hand on the horn but hubby tried and just wrapped his little finger around the grip so no problem there. I've given them 4/5 only because they didn't stop my left hand from getting some tingling/numbness but that may have been too much to hope or expect when you are awaiting surgery for a problem anyway!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous Great grip.
These were a little more than i really wanted to spend on grips, but i'd say now, that they are worth every penny! easy to adjust ends for the hills and a nice wide section that spreads your weight over a wider area to help reduce that numb palms feeling. they look plastic in the picture but they are all rubber and nice and grippy.

I used to suffer from hand pain and numbness, even after short rides but these grips totally got rid of that. It's nice to be able to easily adjust the bar ends too.

I have always used bar ends in the past as I find it difficult to get a comfortable position. These grips are easy to fit, but do take a bit of fine tuning to get the correct position. However since I bought them I seldom use the ends as I find the grip so comfortable.
