Rated 5 out of 5 by Longer burn time than stated, excellent! Great battery! Even better than exposure say it is... I have a single cell one, coupled with a Diablo light. I'm currently testing it in the house, having completely drained the internal battery of the Diablo to start with, and 2:15 hours in on FULL, MAX brightness, it's still going! Even though Exposure state that if the internal battery is below 50% then it will run on medium only.. All three modes are available, and also considering Exposure say that the Diablo will only run for an hour on max setting, and that this battery supposedly mirrors that of the lights internal battery, this is outstanding. Definitely worth testing your lights at home, to see how long they REALLY last, so that when out in the wilds or on race night, you know exactly how much faith you can put in them.!! 28 May 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by it runs the redeye This runs the redeye beautifully and frees up the smart port for the dipping button for the handlebars. Thats what I use it for anyway. you get 9 hours continuous use so I charge it once a week. nice. 18 April 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect for extra long night rides! Bought my piggy back from the flood sale, ok so it didn't look pretty but the price was good and it worked (and continues to work) perfectly. Ideall for 24/12 hour events witout the hassle of getting the light unit charged between stints. If mounting under stem ensure your headtube is suitably protected, depending on stem length the unit may rub against the head tube whilst turning, if its a wet and muddy night it could easily scuff your nice paint/carbon finish. 4 layers of tape or some heli tape and job done. 08 April 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Ride all Night I used a Triple-cell with my Joystick at Dusk Til Dawn last month, and didn't have to worry about changing batteries all night. I now use it together with a White Eye and my Joystick to get 480 lumens for 3 hours for my early morning weekend rides. I'm thinking of getting another White Eye to give me a 1 1/2 hour burntime, 720 lumens Joystick combo. Highly recommended. 22 November 2009
Rated 4 out of 5 by For 24hr races only What a great idea! I really love the thought of a little plug in that increases the burn time. I really want one but have never run out of light since I bought the joystick Exposure lights have such great burn times that the only reason I could find to buy one is if I was doing a 24hr race. 03 October 2008

I was thinking about using this and the extra front light at the same time. Would this work or do they both connect into the smart port

Answer:
These Piggy Back batteries connect into the Smart Port on the rear of the Exposure lights so you can only run the extra light or the backup battery; I don't believe you can use them both at the same time.

Does this clip onto a Diablo?

As above I don't want to keep this in my backpack but would rather clip it to the Diablo so as to be wire free!
