Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 4 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Simple, robust and very good. Nice little unit – totally sealed and the cable is a good length for seatpost to handlebars via the top tube. Very secure and excellent quality. I’m not sure if the mounting system is deliberately flat against the seatpost to match the angle or a flaw but it gives 2 nice options for different commuting. For in-town commuting the light horizontal would be too much for anyone following you, but brilliant for dark country roads (90% of my commute) as it can be seen from over a mile away, to get it horizontal I’ve left a thick ziptie on the seatpost to off set the light mount towards the horizontal. When I get into town, I drop the light off the ziptie so it’s in-line with the seatpost, which means the red beam of light is pointing down at the rear wheel and road behind you. I’ve found that as a cyclist you get given a lot more space on the road with this red glow on the road. After asking colleagues if you leave the light in the down position on open country roads, that unless it’s pitch black a lot of the light is wasted pointing at the road and isn’t as noticeable. Not too sure on the silicon band fitting system – mainly as to it’s durability, but the silicon hoses on the car last a lot longer than the rubber ones so fingers crossed. 09 April 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Quality product that is realy well made I bought this to use with a Revo dynamo front light. This rear light is really bright and easliy seen. When used with the dynamo fron it is an excellent fit and forget combination which never needs charging; ideal for the long commute that I have and no need to worry about being left in the dark. The only slight gripe I had was that the cable was a little short for my bike which has a carrier on it. I wanted to mount it on the back of the rack but the cable isn't quite long enough. Ideal for under seat mounting but it meant that I can no longer carry a bag on top of the rack. 19 March 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Retina Burningly Good. A great product. The cable is the right length, the unit is well built and exceptional well finished. Stands up to winter on the roads well and not having to charge it, is a bonus. It only has a constant brightness mode but is really bright so you can cycle easy that your not going to be taken out from behind. 17 November 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Recharging - gone! Purchased this to go with my front MaxxD. Great to only worry about charging the front light. the cable is just long enough to reach the front light(I have a 55cm top tube on my Roubaix). Would be cooler if it flashed like the rechargable version. The other point is to watch the life of the front life, it does decrease, but charging after 2 x 80 mins hours of full beam of the front isnt a problem for most. Quality is exceptional. 21 May 2012
