What vehicle are these meant for? I ordered 3 metres (which arrived as 3x1m lengths) to find they are way too thick to fit with standard brake fittings and ferrules etc. I assumed that brake cables are a standard size but these are much thicker when compared to all the brake cables on bikes in our household. Lucky they were cheap as they are going straight in the bin. A rare dud product from CRC.

Fibrax cables work really well and are manufactured in the UK as well. Shame CRC is chosing not to stock their range any more. So I'll have to order them from the fibrax website directly...

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous Good, supple and cheap!
I use these with Fibrax inners, they seem more supple and a little thinner than Shimano but work just as well. Sweet gear changes for next to nothing! Can't go wrong for this price. Great service from CRC as usual, buy some and use some Middleburn cable oilers with them, they work very slickly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous Very Smart looking cable package
I have the white outers and they come with a pack of chrome cable ends (ferrules) and the look very very nice. Slick action and hard wearing outers. The white has not discoloured either!

Not the best cable outer i have ever had nor the worst, took me ages to cut but that probably means its quite strong, inside lined with wire and easy to thread a cable through. 4 star

Cool. What can I say. Replaced my old "apparently" teflon coated cable... which had frayed inside meaning I had 2 seconds lag on any gear changes.
Its good stuff.
