Trailbuilding is an art. Anyone who rides slopstyle, DH, freeride or MX knows that the right track makes all the difference. We’ve worked with champion designer Diddie to produce the ultimate track building boot – ideal for riding as well as contouring trails. The nubuck leather upper is stain and water resistant, while our toe cap is low profile to fit in a cage. Patches contribute to durability and the heavy duty lace cover is designed to protect. Our outsole package protects the foot and works with the trail, not against it.
Weight - (Size-9) 25.6oz/727.04g/li>

Rated 1 out of 5 by alecjm Uncomfortable and overpriced
I have had both Karvers and Impact Lows. I wanted to try these as I think they look great. Every size I tried was uncomfortable. I even tried half sizes. It took about 5 weeks of waiting for the different sizes to arrive. After all that, I decided that the steel toe cap is just the wrong shape for my toes. I bought Karvers again.

I'm very disappointed with this shoe considering the price .They look great but they are very heavy and sweat my feet , I also get pins and needles in my toes when I wear them , it must be something to do with shoe build as it doesn't happen when I wear my Shimano shoes that cost considerably less and in my opinion are a better and lighter overall shoe with better grip on the peddles too.
I thought I was upgrading when I purchased these shoes, not downgrading.

They are just too heavy. Twice the weight of my rigger boots. Keep your feet dry until they swet and loads of protection which is no surprise as they feel like steel.

Rated 5 out of 5 by stans Great Winter Boot for flats
You see lots of clipless winter boots but not too many winter boots for flats. These are excellent. Keep your feet warm and dry, are grippy and tough to deflect pedal strikes etc. Ive had lots of 5tens, all are very grippy, but some hold water and some are not that comfy, but not these. 5 stars

Rated 1 out of 5 OK for trail building -- NOT OK for riding
I have been riding those shoes for 4 weeks and the sole is totally worn - don't have any grip anymore. Those shoes have been the worst 510 shoes I have ever purchased.
Big thanks to the team form CRC for the support (I already got my money back).

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jumbleross good UK shoe
just got these and gave them a trial run and it's as muddy and wet out there as I've ever known. They are not as grippy on the pedals as the Karvers but sooooo much better for the UK where we are not blessed with constand dry dusty trails. They kept my feet nice and dry and because they are not a padded around the ankle they dry out mucher quicker.

if ever you need a shoe that looks and feels good to wear these are them,
i used them at hamsterly decent park for the first time it was a little wet and muddy but the grip on them are second to none,
the comfort and stiffness of the shoe make them feel like a part of you,
well pleased with them,
the best yet :)

I have size 11.5 freerider xvi, and I just got ordered these in 11.5 and 12's. If I tap my toes into the floor, it hurts my toes pretty badly with these. I don't want to break my toes against the steel toe if I dab on a landing. Did you guys size up a whole size?
