Perhaps the most talked-about shoe in bike history, the Impact is burly enough for the most hardcore riders, yet comfortable enough to wear around your local bike shop. Breathability is enhanced through the lateral mesh panel while the Slingshot construction at the heel locks the foot down for a secure and comfortable fit from heel to toe.

Rated 4.9 out of 5 by 34 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Just buy em... A typical ride for me is 10-20 miles and I run Shimano Saint MX80 flat pedals (studs on low setting). A few times every ride a foot would slip off the pedal, even on mild bumpy trails. Until I purchased these I'd tried various walking shoes and trainers; but these are in a different league completely. JUST SO MUCH GRIP on the pedals I wont need to raise the studs. The shoe design is awesome... the tongue is part of the shoe so it is always in the correct place, laces are tucked in so they don't catch - and never slip loose! The protection/sole are well thought out. Sole is flat enough for the pedals and raised enough to get grip when off the bike. I take a 9.5 shoe and 10 trainer - the 44.5/10 shoe was a perfect fit. 08 July 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great MTB shoe and looks good too I usually ride spuds but bought these to go with Nukeproof pedals on my new full sus. Not being used to flats I am pleased I got these as my first flat shoe as they stick like glue and are easy to plant solidly on pedal. I still have to get used to flats to feel as comfy on red/black trails as with my spuds but these shoes feel good and give confidence. They are solid and as stiff as they need to be on the pedals but still very comfortable to wear as casual shoes, look good too as casual shoes. Bottom line a solid DH shoe that protects feet and feels solid but still looks good enough to wear casually afterwards. 07 July 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by grippy great grip on the pedals. keep feet dry in the wet aswell 07 July 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great buy These shoes have really increased my confidence on the bike and seem to be wearing well so far 06 July 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great overall shoe Go them in discount at 90 euros, great price. Was considering cheaper shoes but proffered these, luckily. A great overall shoe. Bulky but very comfortable. The side protection works great. One of my best buys at crc. 02 July 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Solid and sticky as you like After breaking 2 toes wearing airwalks with my flats I decided on impacts and have never looked back. They stick to my pedals (superstar nano) almost too much and they have stood up to countless rocks and roots and felt solid throughout. They area little bulky, but surprising agile and you can walk around and push up with no problems. Recommended. 14 June 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best flat pedal shoe on the market These shoes bar none are the best on the market. Excellent grip with my DMR flats, they're comfortable and they look amazing. A little bulkier than I originally anticipated they will undoubtedly hold up to any wear and tear. All in all a solid shoe, if you're looking for a killer shoe to run with flat pedals then look no further. 06 June 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Comfy & tough Comfy to wear but not something you will want to wear on a long walk. Great grip though. Surprisingly not hot even though they are quite heavy, but they will clearly take a bashing 19 May 2014

Answer:
Five Ten's shoe sizing is generally quite accurate and if you are a size 9 normally then this should be adequate. Everyone's feet are slightly different so if you find, after trying them on, that they are not a suitable you can return them to us for an exchange.

Answer:
I take a size ten but opted for 10.5 and they fit perfect. Enough room for sealskinz in the winter and adjust enough for summer socks

Answer:
In my opinion they're right on once they break in. I actually went down a half size from what I use on my Adidas running shoes and they were a bit tight until I wore them for a day. Only reason I went down a half size was due to availability.

If you're a size 9, go for a size 9.

Answer:
I wear a size 8, I got the 41 (European equivalent to a size 8) and they fit perfectly. Probably wouldn't go the size bigger.
