Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome, I used to read the reviews of how grippy these are and think really? Turns out its true! Stick like glue to my saint pedals! Awesome shoes and defo worth getting if you ever find your feet slipping! 22 June 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great shoes just like Sam Hill This shoes looked good and worked well with my Shimano Saint pedals. Stick to the pedals well and the soles is also suitable for walking around to the mall. My only disappointment is that the sole is glued and it starts to peel off after three rides. Should have gotten the free ride instead which is stitched. 14 June 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Super Grippy Very grippy and strong. A bit heavy for general trail riding but they are intended for DH so understandable. I use them for trail riding and DH though and they're fine for me. 22 May 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Stick like glue Great quality from Five Ten, Mega grippy sole, spot on sizing, I'd defo buy another pair of Five Ten's. I've used spd for years and thought I'd give flats a try on my full susser. I've been using these Five Ten's and Shimano Saint pedals with no problems and all. I've been well pleased that the mega grippy sole doesn't slip on the pedal pins. 08 May 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great shoes I wasn't sure if I should spend the cash on five tens but they are totally worth it. Very comfy, look good, do the job well. I would definitely recommend them. They are quite chunky so they give a lot of protection. A must but 26 April 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best MTB shoes I ever had Very grippy shoes for flat pedaling. Nice to walk in too and not bad looking either! 14 April 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good shoes ... Good price! Bought these after much research and deliberation from CRC. The 'Sam Hill' version is a bargain compared to the standard black unit. Now the black is no doubt easier to live with on the eye and looks far less like you're about to break into song in a 1950's musical! However, I'll get them ming'in on the first ride and there'll be no looking back with £20 more in my pocket! Another worthy note, these 'SH' shoes are infinitely better designed than the black ones with regard to the laces. These have really tough plastic eyelets that I anticipate will be relatively indestructible. The black shoes / boots have a material loop instead that is merely glued to the inner shoe. The pair I tried were already showing signs of fatigue from being a display shoe. SIZING; I normally take a UK 9 (43) but have ended up in a UK 9 1/2 (44) in these. I found the fit a little on the snug side so bare this in mind. Yes they are comfortable on and off the bike. This is in no small part to the fact that your foot is surrounded by a good bit of foam (plush). This of course means that if wet, these will take a bit longer to dry and may feel temporarily like a divers led boot! The sole is really quite rigid and the 'stealth' sole is as sticky as you would expect on this brand. All good. On this note, the stiff sole maybe negates any feedback through the pedals and I was left wondering wether a lighter shoe would do better in that regard. I am very happy overall with this purchase and would recommend this product. 14 April 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Hard Wearing and Extremely Comfortable I have had these shoes now for several months and use them several times a week. Really tacky, comfortable and durable. Tested in all conditions. 09 April 2014
