Rated 4 out of 5 by Good quality for too much money Adaptor works like it should do, but price is definately too high for a piece of aluminium. 15 June 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Decent piece of kit. Does exactly what it says on the tin. Unsure of how long the spacers will last but they should be fine so long as they are not over-torqued. 13 June 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Expensive, not a perfect fit either! I was going to write a quick 5 star review, somewhere alone the lines of "Expensive, but does the job perfectly". However I've recently discovered that it doesn't. Let's start off with the price, it's ridiculous for what is, quite simply, a small piece of metal. That aside it fitted my frame mount fine and no extra bolts were required. Everything went together well and I went out to test, seemed ok. After a few rides I noticed that the positioning was wrong, leaving a 2mm or so space at the edge of my rotor that wasn't coming in contact with my brake pads. I have fitted everything correctly, and have since added a small washer to correct this. I'm happy with the purchase and being able to run a 203mm rotor up front from a 180, but this adaptor is expensive and doesn't even fit correctly! Disappointed. 13 May 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by good, but in my 180 to 203mm front swap there was a surprise I bought this 203mm adapter for post-mount fork and also rear adapter, to swap current 180mm Formula RX disks to 203mm. With such a swap you need 4 bolts for front adapter only (2 bolts for adapter-fork mount and 2 bolts for caliper-adapter mount), however, with 203mm adapter only 2 bolts are shipped. You also can't re-use 180mm bolts - they are too long and can't be setup on 203mm adapter without spacers. Despite the fact that spacers are present for 180mm setup, they shouldn't be used according to instructions from Formula. So if you want to swap ONLY 180mm front PM to 203mm - you're in trouble and should buy separately 2 bolts. In my case I had workaround - because I was replacing both front and rear adapters from 180 to 203, then 2 bolts which were coming with rear adapter were exactly the solution - they solved my problem. 15 April 2014

How does this work, exactly?

Just stick it on top of the existing fork mount, put the new 203mm rotor on the wheel and you're all done?

Answer:
Yep, you simply remove the caliper, place this on first then attach the caliper behind it.

The mount effectively just pushes the caliper out from the fork to give a larger rotor more clearance.

Answer:
Just place it between fork mount and brake caliper. It's as easy as mounting brakes without any adaptor ;)
