Rated 4 out of 5 by Works pretty well The syringes require a fair bit of force to get moving. Other than that they are very good. 16 August 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Не включены зажимы в набор. В связи с тем, что не включены зажимы в набор, производить смену жидкости затруднительно.Приходиться использовать подручные средства. Лучше отдать предпочтение наборам с зажимами. 08 November 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Two syringes, two bits of pipe, two metal fitting pieces, and a very basic instructions leaflet in a bag.... Considering how amazing their brakes are, this kit from Formula leaves a lot to be desired. The instructions are very very basic, and one part is not in English. The formula logos on the syringes rubbed off during my first time using them syringes could do with being a little bit longer. My advice would be to buy Avid's standard bleed kit instead... As with nearly all Avid/Formula kit - they're completely interchangeable, so the Avid bleed kit will work perfectly with formula... the Avid kit comes with a t10 tool, nicer syringes, the pipe has a locking system to help you with getting rid of bubbles.. 31 May 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good kit, but poor instructions Got this kit for bleeding Formula RX brakes when fitting the Goodridge 109 brakelines. Expensive for what you get, but I would say indispensable. Apparently does Avid brakes too, according to other reviewers, but I haven't tried it. Fairly straightforward to use, but for a first-timer the instructions are poor. The instructions come in 5 languages, but the English version is poor and, disconcertingly, step 10 is printed in Italian! In addition the photographs are small and indistinct. However, all is not lost. If you go to the Formula USA website and look among the tech-docs there, you will find a perfectly illustrated and cogent description of how to use this kit to bleed RX brakes. The kit does not have the clamps which come in the Avid bleed kit, but I didn't find the need for them. I would rate this product a 5 except for the poor intructions. 04 August 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by nice and original well if you have formula breaks, yuo gotta need this. simply you just pay for the 2 small screws(adaptors we call) and that's specialized for formula. Now jagwire also have bleed kits for it. cheaper, and more accessaries along with. why bother to buy this original formula one? 15 June 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Expensive Really expensive to buy this kit You've no choice but to buy these if you own a set of Formula brakes and want to service them. That said its really easy to bleed Formula brakes compaired to Shimano XTR. 26 April 2011
Rated 3 out of 5 by Does what is says Yes this works but very expensive for what it is. Quite tricky to bleed Formula brakes properly. Make sure you remove pads before bleeding and keep working them to get rid of air. Allow 1 hour to do it. Ive only had the new bike with these brakes six months with occasional use so they should last longer than that without bleeding. I'll go back to Hayes next time, they lasted 5 years with one service. 30 November 2010
