Rated 4 out of 5 by Ariel They slip down
Unfortunately, I bought these to suppress the problem I was having with my other knee/shin guards: the shin guards were soft and were killing me and they tended to slip down. Well, talking about the guards itself, it's almost perfect. gives me a lot of freedom and is well protected, but when it comes to comfort, they slip down. I use really straight slim jeans to hold them, but it doesn't work so well. I needed to do an adjustment so they could hold in place. I lowered my quality review for that, and except that, it's all ok, well aired and doesn't leave a bad smell when taken off.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Mike111 Molto protettive, vestono bene, scivolano un pò.

Rated 4 out of 5 by andrei383 Great protection plagued with constant slipping and lack of padding.
(Note, despite the rating of 4, the actual rating is a 3.5, there just isn't an option for that.)
The Fox Racing Launch Sport Knee Guards may seem appealing initially, especially at its price point and indeed it would be a good purchase if not for some problems with slipping and the lack of padding.
The actual protective plates of the Launch Sport are of very high quality and solid plastic and will hold up to some abuse on the trails. The construction of the entire unit is also very good with strong Velcro and tight stitching. However, that (and its price) are pretty much the end of the good points.
The pads are backed with a stiff fabric material which is supposed to conform to your leg. The material does as its intended, however, it provides very little to no padding to help absorb impacts. Some riders may not feel that this is a big issue (me included) however it may pose problematic to some.
The biggest issue with these is the constant slipping of the knee pads. The "floating inner knee hinge" above the knee cup is really a well thought out design however the upper elastic strap designed to hold the top of the hinge to your thigh tends to slip down to your behind your knee. This, in combination with the hinge, tends to force the entire knee pads downwards, and of course will leave the elastic strap in an uncomfortable position behind your knee. In my mind this could have been mitigated by silicone "grippers" implanted in the strap (found on some cycling shorts), or by extending the top hinge so the elastic grips at a higher point of the thigh. Bear in mind that all of this may vary depending on your leg geometry, some riders may not experience any slip at all.
Because it's one size fits all, the Launch Sport Knee Guards will provide different levels of shin protection to different riders. Those with longer lower legs may find that the bottom of the shin will be unprotected so look elsewhere if you want full shin protection.
Overall, at the price point, the Launch Sport Knee Guards is a good set, however because of its design, its performance will vary depending on the rider using them, some may find it always slipping down and others still will find that it works like a dream. I advise testing a pair first before committing to the purchase. Will I recommend these? Despite the yes given on the side, the answer is more of a maybe.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous Buon rapporto qualità/prezzo
Proteggono però tendono a scendere leggermente sotto il ginocchio a causa della allacciatura superiore (coscia) non perfetta. Se allentate e spostate di lato ti permettono di pedalare abbastanza bene.
