This is a decent pair of shorts, baggy & light to keep you dry & won't ride up. After a few months now I can see the bum area showing signs of wear, it doesn't look like it'll last as long as my other Fox Baseline shorts which shows a bit of fade but no wear at all. Double buttons & velcro size adjuster works good, but having tried this I think I will stick to drawstrings. Liner is decent, I've cut it off away from the shorts to make it easier to wash & put on (it's designed to be cut-off)

Bought these - Pair of 32" Black Camo's - as my first MTB shorts. All I can say is 10/10. I've done x2 4hr+ winter rides in January, wore these over the top of a pair of specialized thermal bib tights and they did a magnificent job of keeping out all of the crud and water which flicks up off the back wheel. One ride was particularly mucky and none of the water or mud made it through the shorts. The funny thing is, the fabric feels very light but it's massively strong. I came off into a thorny hedge in a big way. There's no rips or tears. The shorts are a tight-ish fit. I fit easily into a pair of 32" jeans and initially these felt a little tight but they were fine on the bike. Another plus is that they aren't too baggy so they don't flap about in the wind like another pair I have. Pockets are well located and have good depth. The shorts come with an easily detachable (just cut the ribbon where you see the scissors sign) inner lining which is also padded. Take this out and you'll need padding from whatever you are wearing underneath. I've come back to buy another pair but all the camo's are sold out!
