The stroke rate of this particular shock is 51mm.

Before replacing a shock you must first establish the current eye to eye length and stroke length of your current shock.

The stroke length of this shock is 51mm.

Before replacing a shock you must first establish the current eye to eye length and stroke length of the shock fitted. The replacement must match these diamensions.

Will this fit a 2002 Specialized Enduro

Bike currently has a Fox RL shock fitted that by my measurement is 195mm in length eye to eye. Would I be able to use this as a replacement?

Answer: 
The eye to eye is the most important measurement. You are best to stick with an exact replacement. You would need a 195mm shock. This version is 200mm and would change the geometry of the frame and possible damage it.
