Rated 5 out of 5 by Superb purchase It's great to have a shock that can go and go with out the constant maintenance required from a DT shock. Very happy with my purchase and what a great bargain from CRC 11 September 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Amazing performance I have fitted one of these to my 1999 Santa Cruz Heckler and it has made it the an amazing frame to ride on, even though it is an old design (the frame that is). 26 June 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by 200 x 51 tune Just taken delivery of this shock. It is M rebound tune, M velocity tune and the boost valve tune is 225 13 May 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Ottima scelta a un prezzo eccezzionale! 03 February 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great shock, can handle downhill runs wth ease, very plush, has completely transformed the way my bike handles. 21 January 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by great shock Had this shock for about a year on my merida trans-mission tfs 900, great all mountain shock, and holds up well on some DH courses, all though had to lower the pressure in it for the DH runs, and was great in wales in the afan forest, defiantly recommend this shock, a little over priced for what it offers, but totally worth it, great shock, and the great thing about FOX products, is that you can upgrade them and get them serviced so no need to spend more money on a shock when it wears out. 23 September 2012

Answer:
Noooo!!!!!

The size of shock that you should be looking for in mm is 200x57.

You must replace the shock on your frame with one which is the exact measurements above as specified by the manufacturer.

Answers

Answer:

Answer:
A high volume can usually requires a lower air pressure than a low volume version. I would think that at 230 lbs (105kgs) that a high volume can would probably be better.

Answer:
In my opinion I'd say that you'll have trouble adapting this to the X Control. The Lapierre comes fitted with a short travel, stubby, own brand shock as far as I know. The problem is if you try to fit a long shock like the fox in it's place you'll end up with the linkage shoved up against the frame while the RP is not even fully extended.

Even if the RP fitted ok into the linkage, the extra travel that your bike would now have could really make the bike hard to control when it starts bouncing past the normal 120mm travel it was designed for

Hope this helps?

Answer:
We are not an Orange dealer but as far as we are aware the Orange 5 requires a shock measurement of 190mm x 50mm; this shock in question would be too long as these dimensions need to be as close as possible to keep the geometry of the bike.

Options we do have are suggested below -
